It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Yesterday morning I woke up not feeling so hot. I still hadn't finished decorating my house and want to have it done and looking pretty. So I got on my knees and asked Heavenly Father to help me through the day. To be in good spirit even though I wasn't feeling good. This I would be able to set out with decorating our home and have the girls help out, that we would have a good time. And this is what happened. The Lord is listening and answers our prayers. I had an errand to take care and then came home and started slowly bringing in decorations. The girls jumped in one at a time. First Coco, then Gabby and Faith. When E'lyse came down she too wanted to help out. So the collage is of the decorating we got done yesterday. It was fun and the house is very festive and beautiful. It was great to have my 4 girls helping to beautify our home. Coco had a lot of great ideas. The ornaments were my parents from when they first got married. I love them they are my favorite ornaments of all.
If you want a closer look on any of the picture just click on it and you can see it better.

The Pink tree was bought for my craft room but there is no place to put it this year so Coco ran up stairs with it. She put it up in my bathroom. I had no decorations made or bought for it so she used some pretty pink & silver ribbon, used my pink silk scrap-booking flowers and my flower jewel to decorate my pretty tree. I just love it! Thank you Coco.
The darker pictures were after everyone had gone to bed. I walked around the house enjoying the blessings of the labor of the day.
Alan worked on making the planter boxes for the Bogunvia bushes for the front yard. He also got a pretty fluffy fern for one that is closer to the house for me.

Tomorrow we will plant the flowers around these & add the bark and these will look really pretty.
I just got home from church and it was the Christmas program. It was really wonderful. Miss. Gabby got up and sang with 2 other little girls,"Samuel Tells of Baby Jesus." They did a really good job. The choir sang so beautifully. It made me miss singing in the White Mountain Corral. sniff sniff. It was a wonderful Sacrament meeting.
That is it for now. Hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday. It is cloudy and cool. I love day's like this. Maybe it will stick around for Christmas! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

So nice that your girls were happily willing to help. Especially if you weren't feeling well. It all turned out beautifully. I really love the idea of putting pretties inside the lantern..and the way you decorated the chandelier!
