Posting Early for Pink Saturday. My Trick or Treating fun!

Happy Pink Saturday to you ! My Pink to share is first Gabby being the Pretty Pink Princess. The second one is one of the things that makes me feel like a true lady.
I know EWE feet! No Pink Toenails!!! This is my favorite color. So these are my Pinks to share.
Now to get one thing off my chest. I am sooooo glad that Halloween is over. Tonight Alan had to work late. Dallas went with a group of friends to Trick or Treat (although I don't know who will give someone with a beard candy).
This is Dallas as a Biker. He wore my dew rag and I got him a shirt and painted flames on the skull. (Chip off the old block, a wanna be Harley owner).

So I was dreading taking out my younger two by myself. I was even trying to bribe them with a bag of their favorite candy to stay home and hang out. I found out that one of E'lyse's friends couldn't go out with out an adult being with them so her mother and I decided to walk all together. So there was 8 of us. Here is a picture of me with my girls
I didn't dress up other than my pearls tonight! This is E'lyse's buddies that went with us minus her friends little brother & mother.
Cortney, Joey and E'lyse.
We did a lot of walking and talking. But boy I am glad there is one year till we do it again.
I am looking forward to the planning and preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Hope you all have a great Pink Saturday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

I was Boo'd by Coco at her blog Get With It Mom.

So I get to BOO some of my blogging friends!
Go to as many friends as you want and tell them that they've been "BOO!-ed". They should link back to your blog, pick up the cool Halloween pic, and BOO! their friends. Then put the pic in your sidebar so that everyone knows you've already been "BOO-ed" and to share the pic with someone else. Have a safe and fun Halloween.

Today I have errands to take care of then home for some crafting. Coco, Kyle and Talmage are leaving to go up to Pinetop for the weekend. It will be strange not having them around here. Tonight I will be taking the girls Trick or Treating and then home for a relaxing evening of watching a movie or TV show and hanging out with the family.
Gabby made Ghostie at school today! BOO!!

I hope you all have a great day and please be careful out there. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Trick or Trunk, Left Over and Picture Overload & Good News

Our churches Halloween Trick or Trunk was last night. There was a lot of people there and I was busy passing out candy so not many pictures from there. So many great costumes that the children and some adults had on. This is one of my daughters good friends, Rachel. I love this idea:
This is Elyse and some of her close friends: Nurse-Baylie, Wolf-Brooke, Shower-Rachel & Baseball Player-E'lyse.

I will go from youngest to oldest with the rest of us.
This is Talmage. He was a puppy dog, he enjoyed laying in the cool grass.

He is so sweet!
This is Gabby. She was a Stressed out Mommy.

Faith is next. She wanted to be Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. She is a total ham.

Then there is E'lyse. She is a Baseball player. We are loyal to our old school.

Coco went as a Cosmetology Student. You can't see it in the picture but on the left side she had a comb stuck in her hair. Then before we left she decided it would be good to have a curling iron stuck in her hair too.

Next is Kyle he came home from work changed out of his uniform and got on some camo's no make up though. He was tired from the day at work and recharging.

Alan wasn't feeling good so he stayed home. I got dressed up too. This is real far fetched I know as a Crazy Craft Lady! This is how I look at the end of everyday! OK not really just around the holidays. This is my major stressed out look. You can't see the major bags I put under my eyes and all the crafting items I had hanging all over me.

We all had fun and now to get ready for Friday night.
Now you are probably wondering what the heck left overs I am talking about at the top of my title. Most of you probably already do this but I have the kiddos go through there candy, what ever candy they don't care for we put into a zip lock freezer bag and freeze for making Gingerbread houses at the beginning of December.
Some great news for today Kyle (Coco's hubby) is graduating from the Detention Officer Academy. He is excited to be done and got the shift and jail that he wanted. Great Job KYLE!!! We are very proud of you. I am sure Coco will have bunches of pictures to share on her blog tomorrow.
Today I am going to go hit a sale at Fry's , head to Wal-Mart and get a couple small rollers for painting. I plan on working on some Fall planning & crafts for Thanksgiving after this. At 5 a meeting for Cheer leading daughters squad for the parents, eat dinner and then hopefully relax a little bit. I am going to try to get to bed early tonight too. I am becoming sleep deprived. You all have a great day!

Halloween is 4 Days Away & I am Crafting

It is funny Halloween is not my favorite Holiday other than I love dressing up and decorating for it. I wanted to share a few little crafts I have been working on or worked on in the past. This is a decoration I made a while back that is made out of wood. I hung it on my pumpkin.
I have seen things like this done on other blogs. I used an old picture frame , some scrap booking paper for the background and I used one of the paper dolls from Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion magazine. I cut out all the little goodies by her too. (That was a little bit of a pain due to they are so small.) I love the little saying you can't see it but it is in the upper right corner it says,"Every girl is a Princess on Halloween."
I have seen this on some blogs also with different sayings in them. Coco and I decided to make monthly signs using this picture frame. I like the way it turned out and my little feathered friend is just checking out the kitchen.

What is Going on?

Peek a boo! This is Talmage last week playing Peek a boo with me, actually it is Coco holding him and playing with me. He He we have to find some excitement in our day!
What is going on you ask? Well I usually say not much but then a flood of different things come to my mind. Where do I start. I think I will start with last Tuesday. Faith (9) and Gabby (8) tried out for the drama club at their school. Faith sang a song from Hairspray. Gabby sang a song from the latest Barbie movie. On Friday morning I get a call from Faith at school that she made the club but Gabby didn't. Way to go Faith! Gabby was upset but she told me Friday morning before school that she prayed and asked Heavenly Father to help them be okay if one of them made it and the other didn't. She was okay when she got home. I told them that I was just proud of them for trying out at all.
Alan (DH) has been fighting a cold since early last week. I got him some Alka Seltzer cold tabs for congestion and he is doing much better. I would normally do the Zicam but he was too far into it to use that.
On Saturday Coco, Kyle and Talmage went out to yard sales. I love to do this but I don't usually go. Coco called me and said she found this an Armoire for $50. I have wanted one of these in my living room to hide the ugly TV, DVD and VCR for so long but didn't have or want to spend the big bucks for it. I even hugged the lady when I left. I am such a dork! But I get so excited when something like this happens.

So I have big plans for this baby!
The door was broken off on the bottom and I said YES! I can figure out some way to make this work, I got the doors too. Wait and see what I come up with .
I made this over the weekend: I saw one on another blog, oh no I can't remeber who's it was and I wanted to put it on here, becuase hers was just beautiful! Sorry I know it was an A that she used and it was on black. I am sorry if you made it. Koodos goes out to you whoever you are out in the great blogasphere. I had to make one for my craftroom.
Then last Wednesday they started tryout for the cheer squad at Elyse's school. She decided to try out. Came home that day and said to me that there were a lot of girls who were really good & she didn't think she would make the squad. She called me this morning to let me know she made the squad. Way to go DEDE!!
Then today Coco, Talmage and I went to Fry's for some shopping. I got all of this for
$57.61 with a savings of 58%. I love coupons, store sales and saving.
So I started to work on different items and as life would have it brushes weren't working, people needed picked up and other such things came up. So I am looking forward to tomorrow and getting things done. Well, off to get Dallas at school and get dinner made, FHE and a treat for tonight. Have a great evening. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Tagged

I've been tagged!
My niece tagged me. I will play along I don't want to be a party pooper. These are the rules...you have to list seven random facts about yourself and then tag 7 other people at the end of the post.....Enjoy :D
1. I will not take a bath in a tub in a hotel, someone else s house or a older house. A shower yes but not a bath. EWE! There is just something weird feeling about that.
2. I get a rush from using coupons or finding a great sale. Like Fry's case lot sale. OH boy big fun!
3. When I put deodorant on I have to do the left one first and it is 20 swipes each underarm arm. Maybe TMI there. No OCD here.
4. I butter my toast on the left side that comes out of the toaster.
5. My life dream would be to live a self-sufficient life somewhere in the middle of the great pines.
6. After I graduated from high school I went to Alaska to work with my best friend. We didn't work at all. We had a great time and saw some awesome country. I also made a life long friend there that we still correspond to each other.
7. I use to have a rebellious spirit about me and once in awhile it still comes out.
That's all there is. So I am now tagging the following friends or family:
Coco, Renee', Meredith, Savannah, Kris , Melissa and Becky! Have fun.
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Monday

This weekend went by way to fast in fact, October is going by way to fast. Today I have been working on things around the house, played with Talmage and did my daily tasks. It is the last day of the girls Fall break. Can I just say YEAH! They are good until they aren't getting enough sleep or they are around each other way too much. Then they honestly start to get on my nerves arguing over every little thing.
I didn't get as much completed this weekend as I wanted to but, tomorrow is another day. I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you. This is Talmage & Dallas on Saturday. The other is Talmage Sunday night. Coco was making him look like a little girl . He's awful cute! Dallas grew out his beard for Halloween. err Not found of that!

Tonight we will be having FHE after dinner. I found a great dessert on Crystal's blog Everyday Food Storage that I think I might make. Well off for now to start dinner and work on the lesson for tonight. Have a great evening. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Pink Saturday & Pre Halloween Party

Good Pink Saturday morning! For my Pink Saturday post I wanted to share a picture of my new water cooler to make sure I drink your 8 glasses of water a day. I love Hello Kitty and my little Faith, was at our neighbors garage sale and saw it. If I didn't know the neighbor I probably wouldn't use it but since I do I probably will. I think it is cute and so sweet that Faith would get it for me.
It is only about 15 inches at the pink base. So that is my Pink Saturday Post.
Now on to the pre-Halloween Party! The talented and beautiful Vanessa at Fanciful Twist is having a pre-Halloween party. You must go check it out. She is so much fun to hang out with, what a creative lady she is. So here I am in my normal self. (JK) This is one of my favorite costumes of all time. I have had it for over 20years and it gets better each time I put it on. I just love dressing up.

Have a great day!

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

It is Wednesday so it is time for Whatcha Working on Wednesday at Leslie's blog My Country Home .
Today I am planning on working on turning this little box into my new coupon storage box, I have a note book and it is not working out, I am going to make dividers to fit the container and they will pretty. Sorry about the coloring. My craft room is bright green and at 4:30 in the morning it makes things odd colors.
Coco went with me today. For the first time I can remember in my life Fry's Food had a case lot sale. I had a bunch of fun this is the car before I unloaded:

This is the trunk and the back seat. This is the cans all neat until I have room in the house (it is finally cool enough that they will be okay out here) and the dried goods. I got a 3 different kinds of broth, 2 different kinds of beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, pasta sauce, green chili's, flour, sugar, oatmeal, macaroni & cheese and 2 more cases of drinking water for our storage . Most of this will get us through the first 6 months of next year. I will use up my pantry goods first.
I got enough mac n cheese for all next year! They had meat on sale that would have been $10 for just one of them and I got them for less than that for all 4 and the lettuce I had 2 coupons for plus they were on sale. I almost forgot I also got a DVD player for our living room that was $24. So this is my receipt and one up close. Do you see that saving? I spent $211.84 on all that and I saved $217.27

WOOOHOO!!! That feels so good to have all these items in my food storage. Now I need a little nap and work on the container for coupons. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

On Saturday I got my early Ballot in the mail and finished my voting and today it will go in the mail. It is so important that we all vote. Listen to good news worthy stations (not the usual drive by media), read up on all that is going on with the candidates, study the different propositions that are trying to be past and make your vote count.

My motto is if you didn't vote you don't get to complain. You can make a difference! The only bummer about this is I don't get a fun little sticker to wear around all day so I had to post it here! Have a great Monday. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Had to Share

Today when the little girls, Faith and Gabby, went to the Mother & Daughter Fun Time for Achievement Day's we had so much fun. They had set up beautiful tables, round with white table clothes, a square Halloween runner and a pumpkin with a Fall garland draped around it. Food always tastes better if it present beautifully I think. The leaders also had a food table with fresh veggies, fruit, cheeses and CANDY!! Punch and water to drink. They also had made popcorn balls that were wrapped very cute and Halloween cupcakes for us. After munching and visiting they had a work on a mummy project. Get it the girls got to spend time with their mummies and make a mummy! I was the only one with 2 girls there. I taught them how to thread and sew a little bit. So here are the mummies hanging on our front
door: The one on the top is Faiths and the one on the bottom is Gabby's

I think they are so cute!
I got out our boxes of Halloween costumes for the girls. They had so much fun with them. They needed to have costumes for the Halloween party tonight. So this is what we came up with. These aren't the costumes they will be wearing for this years Trick or Treating but it was what we had on hand. Faith is the on the left and Gabby on the right. Then a picture of my little characters together. Have a great evening. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
