Whatcha Working On Wednesday

Whatcha Working On Wednesday ! It has been a little while since I had post this for Wednesday and decided it was time. June has gone by so fast and things are changing rapidly. We have been working on moving our office into our bedroom so Coco and Talmage can move in when Kyle has to report for the Air Force.
We had a name picked out for our business and Alan went to pick up the paper work for the LLC and they said the name was too close to another business. So now back to the drawing board.
For today I got up at 4:45 and did my morning routine. At 8:45 I will leave to run my errands and be home by 10:30. Son is suppose to move boxes up to our bedroom from the den so I can clear out the den. I have a bunch of books to pack up and my desk supplies.
I will be doing wash 5 loads and vacuuming today. Hubby has to work tonight so I will be packing his lunch and getting dinner ready too.
With my finger wrapped up it is hard to do a lot of my normal chores. I can't get it wet and it is just bulky. So I will do what I can.
I have a leg weight workout and cardio today also.
I am sure there will be other things that pop up that need attention so I better get to work. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatch Working on Wednesday

I am posting this a little late. Hubby and I had brunch together and I must admit I love having him around here lately.  I have already done 4 loads of wash, cleaned up house and made blackberry sugarfree freezer jam for hubby since he is diabetic.
I am going to make some strawberry syrup to have for crepes, waffles or pancakes. I have also been working on moving things around from my craft room to make it our office. Oh boy so many crafts and now I need to fit them in a smaller space. This will be a fun challenge.
I am also doing research on business names and business information. Along with the other home blessings that have to be done throughout the day.
Last night as I was putting the little girls to bed I realized that the kiddos only have about 2 weeks left of school. This school year has gone by so fast. I need to start working on plans for fun things for us to do this summer that will be fun and free or little cost. I got the new Family Fun Magazine and they have some fun ideas. So this is one more thing I will be working on throughout the day.
Hope everyone is having a great day I would love to hear what you are all up to today or ideas for the summer. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday and Our Business

News Flash: I found out yesterday at Fry's when you bring in your reusable cloth bags you get a .5 credit for each bag. Every little bit helps, Right?
Man this week is going by fast. Whatcha Working On Wednesday is here already. Today I have two kiddos home. E'lyse caught whatever it was that Gabby had or from someone else she is congested and feeling bad. Gabby's teacher told her yesterday that if she came to school and was coughing she was going to send her to the nurse to be sent home. She is no longer running a fever and is bouncing off the walls she just has a cough. Yet they get upset if the child misses. Oh well! Se la vie! I am seriously considering homeschooling next year for the girls. This in a major thinking process that has to be sorted through and prayed about.
Alan and I got up at 4:40. Neither of us could sleep and he had a major break through on something he was struggling with to figure out so he shared what came out of that and by then I was wide awake.
I have been working on typing up lists for the food storage and for my freezer inventory. On Saturday Coco and I cleaned out my big freezer and hubby rolled it out to the front and let it defrost and I then cleaned it out, reorganized everything and took notes of what was in there.
I went shopping yesterday for my two week cooking. I use to do OAMC (Once a Month Cooking) all the time and got out of the habit. But I decided with the business starting up we are going to need as much of my free time when hubby is home to work on projects.
We don't have a name yet for the business but I will tell you what we will be doing. First Alan has been in the construction industry since he was a little guy. His father built houses on the side and in the summer as he was a teacher and had to provide for a family of 9 children. My hubby is great at what he does. He is wonderful in math and able to figure out how things will look good and functional. He worked for a major home builder here in Arizona, Shea Homes. He built Shea's largest and most expensive homes. He quit 6 months after we had moved to Pinetop to be with the family full time instead of just weekends. He is a jack of all trades, some he is more proficient at but has sources to get information if need be. He is great with the customer of making them happy and helping with ideas. Our business will be remodeling, additions, and fix ups or foreclosure homes. Eventually we would like to flip houses and build speck houses, but that is down the road. I am more of the Girl Friday and someone to share and get ideas from. This is major exciting for us. His countenance has changed and has an enthusiasm that I haven't seen in a long time. It is great! I was even told last week at church that I had a glow about me. At first thinking "I'm not pregnant", I think it is a glow of positive energy I feel. We still don't have a name so if you want to add your idea I would love to hear them.
I have a bunch of prep work to do for my cooking along with some researching for the business, phone calls, kiddos to look after, wash and regular home blessings for my WWOW. Hope you all have a great day. I wanted to share this with you I think it is great.
"We often think of enthusiasm as caused by an external event. However, it can be generated from within, becoming an intentional action for transforming virtually anything in our lives. Enthusiasm can take the seemingly small, dull, boring, or unimportant and turn it into something new and magnificent. Learn to strengthen the muscle of your enthusiasm, letting the tiny become great, and you will reclaim your energy and passion." Anat Baniel

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Whatcha Working on Wednesday is today! I am late posting due to not being home. Coco and Talmage came over bright and early this morning and visited for a while. E'lyse had a late start day. We had told her we would get her some new clothes she is outgrowing hers and they aren't modest enough for our liking so today was a perfect day to take her shopping. We first went to Wal-Mart. I had to get some lunch supplies and she wanted to check out their shorts. She found 3 pair that are adorable and 1 cute blouse with 4 under-shirt camis. We then went to Goodwill because I wanted to look around. For those in Arizona if you go to www.goodwillaz.com you can pring off coupons for the store. I saved $10 there today and got some cute blouses for her and a skirt for me and 3 casual shirts for me too. They were name brands too and I hate spending full price for clothing especially for myself. We then went to Ross. We hit the jackpot there. She got some blouses, 2 skirts and a sweet little brown and blue skirt suit. The skirt has polkadots on it and is as sweet as can be. We had fun! It has been a while since she and I have done anything like this together. She is usually with friends or busy. I took her to school and came home.
I started my wash for the day and did some straightening up around the house. I still have to work on the budget and business plans to go over with Alan. Planning on a simple cool dinner since it is so hot here for tonight. Alan is getting the soil preped for the garden as I said before "I don't do the heat", it really makes me sick to my stomache. And you may ask why I live in Arizona? Because I can't get hubby to move and right now this is where the Lord wants us. So the AC is on and I am good.
Off to get work done. Have a great afternoon. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Gabby was doing much better with no breakouts this morning so she went to school. She had scratched herself so hard in her sleep that behind her poor little knees there are major scrapes and she said it hurts to bend her legs to far. I felt so bad for her it did look really painful. We put on some medicated anti itch lotion and it seemed to help.
The schools here in Arizona are having the AIMS testing starting today. I think they should have planned it state wide that when they have the students all ready to take the test the yell out APRIL FOOLS!! And don't make them take the test. I think it would be funny.
It's here again Whatcha Working on Wednesday . I have my needs and wants ready for today. I decided what I would do is work 20 min. then take a break and come back and work on that way throughout the day with every 3rd time I do something that is a want to do (craft project or something along those lines). Kind of a little game with myself. I have some major organizing to do all over the house. I am not happy with the way it runs so things need to be moved and improved, clutter thrown away or given away, with those things that I or the family just doesn't' love anymore. I also am working on this project that my daughter Coco had. She had this great idea (not sure if she came up with it on her own but I love it) to save space and have DVDs in an orderly fashion use a CD case and put all the movies in it and get rid of all the bulky cases. Movies that are a PG-13 Rating (these can only be watched by the 13 and above crowd with Mom and Dad's approval) will stay in our room. This is the bag of those cases
Dallas wanted the cases so I am taking out all the extra little flyer's and the picture part on the case like this. There are some of my favorite movies so I decided instead of throwing the covers away I am going to make a collage with them for my craft room.
This is the case for the family movies I then have one like this for the PG-13 and Christmas & Holiday movies. I also have one that is half this size with my exercise DVDs in. I think this is a great way to save space and keep things organized. Now what to do with all of those VHS movies that are taking up space?
I am all caught up on wash, kiddos are at school so it is time for me to bless my home and myself. I will be listening to Mindy Gledhill sing for a while, As A Man Thinketh book on CD and The Rush Limbaugh show throughout the day.
I also wanted to share a book I started yesterday called "The Jackrabbit Factor The Story" by Leslie Householder . You can get it as a free E-book download at the link. It is real good so far.
Well speaking of jackrabbits I am off like one to get to work. Have a great Wednesday. I will try and check in later. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Whatcha Working on Wednesday is once again upon us. I have been up several hours but feel like my day is half over. Last night hubby stayed up late watching Quigley Down Under
with Tom Selleck HUBBA HUBBA
I just adore, droll and lust for Tom Selleck and have since Magnum PI when I was a Freshman in high school. He is one of those men like Sean Connery that just gets better with age. A lot like my hubby!! Anyway so I was trying to go to sleep but couldn't because I kept wanting to look at TOM. I am pathetic! So didn't really get to sleep till 1 ish. This is very late for me. Anyway great movie if you haven't seen it I suggest it. Tom makes a great cowboy. YEEHAW!!
So today for my Whatcha Working on Wednesday I am going to hit Fry's sales, after coming home and putting items away I will then do some organizing of some papers in my craft room, start wash, line out girls on the things they need to do today, work on the knitting project to teach myself, switching out the wash, playing with kiddos, making cookies with the Butter Powder I am trying out, home blessings and fixing dinner.
Alan is off work and didn't go on the camp out last night due to Dallas but they are going out shooting with the scouts and later he is planning on taking the little girls fishing.
Now I better get going on my day. Have a great Wednesday and I will check in later.
Hugs, Bobbi jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

I am very late checking in on this Whatcha Working on Wednesday. I have been doing the usual home blessings (chores) and went to get the deals at Fry's this morning. I bought these
The steaks are for a date night. Yeah love cheap date nights!! Ant I bought these
And these.
Woo Hoo pasta and toilet paper. What more could a gal want?
I got these so I can a be one of the coolest grandmas in the world to my little grandson! he he
The total came to $353.44. I had $41.53 in coupons, and the store card savings and some VIP card savings the total of coupons came to $160.31 so I ended spending $193.13 on the groceries . I have enough, Q-tips, pickles, deodorant and pasta now for the rest of the year then some. I had coupons that needed filed and other items to take care of this afternoon.
Dallas has been working on a TV stand for a free TV he got last night I have gone out to help hold and cut wood throughout the day when I was here . The picture on it is great and he loves having a bigger TV in his room. LOL (Thanks again Janel!)
So off I go to keep myself busy.
Hope you all have a great afternoon. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Today is Whatcha Working on Wednesday over at Leslie's blog My Country Home. You should go check out the cute little prim bunnies she made, the girl is talented.
So for my work today will include the usual chores cleaning house and 6 loads of wash. The girls got new bedding for Christmas so their old bedding needs washed and put away and all of their blankets that they use, and clothing that was worn this past week . I am going to hit the great sale at Fry's first thing this morning. Then coming home and work on moving these boxes from my living room to the craft room.
This is where the new floor to ceiling shelves will be (hopefully very soon!!) .
Then I need to work on this: Hubby got some items for our year supply and I have tubs of our food storage that need to find a home inside. It is getting into the 90's here and food doesn't not do well in the heat of the garage. So now you can see why I need my shelves built very soon.
With these two bigger tasks I will be pushing myself to get them done. My head is killing me due to the earaches but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
Hope you all have a productive day! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

I can not believe that it is Wednesday again. This past week has just buzzed by.
Today I am working on the following: I have to go to Elyse's school and talk with the dean because the girl that started the fight 2 weeks ago is still harassing her. Unfortunately they have 1st hour together. This is her dance class and the girl and a couple of friends keep yelling out things to her but the teacher doesn't do anything about it. ERR! I need to pick up Dallas early due to him not having EVIT today so he will get out at 10:40. I am doing the repainting of the little girls room since I was unable to get to it yesterday. I will post a picture of it when I am done. I need to work on some craft organizing, do wash and the usual chores. I am going to look on You Tube and try to teach myself to knit. I want to learn how to do this and have wanted to know how to for a while now. I need to go through the sale items and figure out what is needed and get my coupons ready for that. By this time the girls should be home from school and it will be time for snacks and finish prep for dinner. I have 4 books that are waiting patiently for me to read so maybe tonight in my bath I will sneak a little time for reading.
One more piece of news Talmage is starting to walk. He has been taking a few steps at a time. Yesterday when he was here I was sitting on the floor and he would get up by our couch and take about 4 steps to me. But last night Coco called and said her is walking more and more. She went to get his bath ready and came out and he was in the middle of his room walking around. He looks so amazed that he can do it with a big smile on his face. Love that little man.
Hope you all have a great day! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working On Wednesday

Just a quick recap of my first 2 days of the week. Monday night we celebrated Faith's Birthday. She really seemed to be happy with all that went on throughout the day and evening.
Tuesday E'lyse was home from school with stomach problems, the field trip Alan was to chaperon for Faith's class got canceled due to the rain, so in other words my plans for the day changed. I mostly worked around the house did a deep clean on the master bedroom, did wash,
and the daily chores.
Today is Whatch Working on Wednesday. I am spending my morning trying to get my computer running. After my keyboard went out this morning I went and got a new one. I come home and now I can not get the mouse to work or the monitor on. ARGGGG!!! I am really getting upset with this thing. Hubby left his laptop home for me to use today so I am able to post on my blog.
I will be working on wash, filing, master closet cleanup and the usual chores of my day.
I got a book in the mail yesterday that I am absolutely loving. The book is called "Queen Of The Castle" , this book is written by a sweet blogger at Queen Of The Castle Recipes. This is a fun book that is full of fun things to do, make, new words, new things to put into effect to enhance your family and yourselves. GREAT book! I am reading the weeks that I have missed and planning on using these in my life. Thank you so much Lynn Bowen Walker, my fellow royalty friend. Check out her blog and get this book, it is awesome for new homemakers and us more mature homemakers.
So off to work on my list today before kiddos get home at 1:30. Have a great day!
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

It is not raining anymore and the sun has decided to show it's self. The weather is still wonderfully chilly, the way I like it.
I have E'lyse home today. Her nose was a little swollen from where the girl hit her yesterday. The other girl got a 4 day suspension for starting the fight. Such drama for junior high! The rest of the family went to school and work although, I think the weather has made everyone want to stay in bed. We had a slow start this morning. I didn't even stay up and watch my show last night but, I just wanted to stay under the warm blankets this morning.
It is time for Whatcha Working on Wednesday. If you want to join in go to Leslies blog and join in.
Today I am not feeling super productive but I know things have to be done so here is my to do list for the day.
Workout, wash 5 loads, make dinner and prep for tomorrows dinner, work on menu and shopping list for next week, organize coupons and look at lost leaders to decide what is needed,
fold and put away the snow gear I washed , decorate for Valentines Day ( I am so far behind on getting things up), brush Nellie, work on my organizing my craft room & make list of projects to work on and finish the Valentine Heart sign. Buy the time I am done with this the little girls will be home from school since it is early release.
I will try and post pictures of the Heart when I complete it.
Have a great Wednesday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Time for Whatcha Working on Wednesday. My morning started with both feet hitting the ground and going. I got lunches out of the fridge ( I made them last night) and made these for the girls for breakfast. Chocolate chip muffins. Sorry the lighting in the mornings is off for some reason.
Today on my list of things to do I have the following items, there are in no paticular order:
Work out then wash up and start the work.
Finish this project and post picture. Do you know what it is? No cheating Coco! It reminds me of a duck bill.
Take inventory of food storage, take inventory of pantries . Hang up pictures that I have painted the frames. 3 loads of wash. Make dinner. Ironing. Vacuum up stairs. Sweep off front porch and clean front door. Go through cooking books to see what stays and what goes. Go help Coco with placement of items in her house. Read blogs that have updated that I stalk. I know there is more on my never ending list, but this is all I have on my list for today. I will check in later with a follow up. Have a great day! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

I finally decided to get back on the Whatcha Working on Wednesday wagon with Leslie over at My Country Home blog. My want to do list is getting longer by the day but I know baby steps are the way to get things done. I started this morning cleaning out my medicine box. I am checking exasperation dates and getting rid of the ones that are no longer good. I have 3 closest that need organizing and a craft room that is really scary right now. But first things first I am going to get my workout in and then run my errand for some items needed for E'lyse for school.
I am surprised I was able to get up this morning due to me staying up watching Real Housewives of the OC last night. It doesn't start till 11 and over at 12 but I stayed up and watched it. I wasn't thrilled with Tamara last night she was being just nasty to Gretchen. I am sure my blog buddy Scrappy Girl over at Four Seasons Farm will have a review if she watched it last night.
Hope you all have a great day! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Today is Wednesday and that means it is time for Whatcha Working on Wednesday! You can go over to Leslie's blog and sign up to let others know what you are up to.
Yesterday I got the stocking that I won in the mail So in between the other things I had to do last night, along with eating dinner, we watched a Christmas movie and getting kiddos to bed I cut the pieces out, and there are a lot of pieces. WOW so much fun! These are some of them
All done cutting Then I packed the colors separately and put them into a container to work on today when I get a chance.
I will be doing some baking of pies, Gooey Pumpkin Butter Cake, making the stuffing and doing prep work for tomorrow. I also need to work on some other projects that I have on the back burner for Christmas. I also want to do a quick clean of the house for tomorrow.
I wanted to share with you the cute turkeys that Gabby and Faith made at school. Gabby got to make pumpkin pie at school yesterday so her turkey has the recipe for the pie filling.
When Alan came in last night he had bought me these beautiful roses to say thank you for supporting him through all this. We are going to be okay. He shouldn't have spent the money, but they sure are pretty and smell so good.
Okay so I need to get going to get my day moving along. Girls get out of school extra early today and I have to pick them up. It started raining about 8 this morning and is continuing . YEAH!!!!!!! I love rainy days they motivate me.
For those of you traveling please be safe and enjoy your time with family and friends.
You all have a great day and tomorrow a l Gratitude post (of course!)
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Before I share with you what I am working on I have to show you this:
These are the stairs to the second story of our house there are 18 stairs in all and kind of steep . I was in the craft room reading blogs entering some contests for giveaways and such, Coco came in and was checking on coupons for this weeks sales. I went out to talk with E'lyse in the kitchen and wanted to go say hi to Talmage I go to the great room that is to the left of the staircase. He isn't there and all of the sudden it dawned on me I run over to the stairs and he is 3 stairs from the top. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I am trying to be calm and get to him before he tries to turn around to see me and lose his balance. EEEK!!!!!!!!!!! Now I know why I didn't have a two story house till my kiddos were a little older. I think I shaved off a few years from my life.
So for Whatcha Working on Wednesday I am working on these:
Thanksgiving silhouettes. I cut out this morning I got the template off of Martha Stewart web site. I am also going to work on this:
This is going to be a Christmas sign. It is a piece of foam core board. I have wash and some cleaning, dinner and picking up kiddos, and a couple errands to work on today so I will post pictures later. I still need to recover from the sight of Talmage up there just smiling away at the top of the stairs. Good gravy that scared the tar out of me. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

It is time for Whatcha Working on Wednesday with Leslie on her blog . Today Coco and I are going to hit the deals at Fry's early as possible. When we get home I have some crafts that I would like to work on a couple of cute Christmas decorations, need to paint the armoire (priming is a pain, sanding didn't work) ARRRR! Anyway, I also am making a chandelier cover for the cord and I also have an apron I would like to put together. We will see how much I get done today. The girls get out of school early and I am picking up today, then picking up Dallas then E'lyse after her game today so afternoons are rough for me to get a lot accomplished at one time.
One more funny thing. Last night my DH came home and he had been gone a long time for a meeting. I asked him if he was afraid to come home to me due to the election results. He said no, he is more worried I am going to go into a great depression. I thought that was funny! I get way to involved in the politics and I can feel my blood pressure rising and I have to step back and not focus on it. It will all be good. Just wanted to share with you. Proposition 102 passed and I am so happy about this & Sheriff Joe Arpio was reelected! Yeah!
Remember to keep smiles on your face and make it a good day. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

It is Wednesday so it is time for Whatcha Working on Wednesday at Leslie's blog My Country Home .
Today I am planning on working on turning this little box into my new coupon storage box, I have a note book and it is not working out, I am going to make dividers to fit the container and they will pretty. Sorry about the coloring. My craft room is bright green and at 4:30 in the morning it makes things odd colors.
Coco went with me today. For the first time I can remember in my life Fry's Food had a case lot sale. I had a bunch of fun this is the car before I unloaded:

This is the trunk and the back seat. This is the cans all neat until I have room in the house (it is finally cool enough that they will be okay out here) and the dried goods. I got a 3 different kinds of broth, 2 different kinds of beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, pasta sauce, green chili's, flour, sugar, oatmeal, macaroni & cheese and 2 more cases of drinking water for our storage . Most of this will get us through the first 6 months of next year. I will use up my pantry goods first.
I got enough mac n cheese for all next year! They had meat on sale that would have been $10 for just one of them and I got them for less than that for all 4 and the lettuce I had 2 coupons for plus they were on sale. I almost forgot I also got a DVD player for our living room that was $24. So this is my receipt and one up close. Do you see that saving? I spent $211.84 on all that and I saved $217.27

WOOOHOO!!! That feels so good to have all these items in my food storage. Now I need a little nap and work on the container for coupons. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

Boy I have been a blog slacker. Monday I didn't have much to say and didn't even get my menu posted, I did get the house decorated for Halloween , yesterday I woke up tired. I decided to take a nap and ended up waking up at 10 and then went shopping. Ended up running a couple other errands and didn't blog then. Today I am better rested, ran my errands and now I am going to work on my year menu, clean out my water barrels and fill, pick up girls from school and maybe a scrapbook page if I get to it. After the girls are home it is hard to work on crafts without them not wanting to do them too.
On Monday when I decorated I put one of those cheapy plastic door covers on the little girls bedroom door. They loved it.
Yesterday Faith and Gabby were making Halloween decorations and I wanted to share these with you.

Faith made this page using pipe cleaners or chenille stems, fuzz balls and construction paper. I think it is so sweet. I love her zombie, it reminds me of the Micheline Man. he he These girls are very crafty.

Gabby made these little bats using fuzz balls, googly eyes, and construction paper. This was her own idea to make them. Then she used purple raffia to hang them in front of their bedroom door.

Now this morning Gabby came in the den after freshly waking up. I thought she looked a little like a rooster. She is so silly.
So it took me forever to get this posted, sorry . Have a great Wednesday.
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Evening of Excellence and Whatch Working on Wednesday

Last night was Evening of Excellence in our ward. This is E'lyse by the picture of the symbol of the Young Women. This evening was to honor the young ladies between the ages of 12 to 18 as a "Holder of His Light". This was the theme for this year.
This is E'lyse and Sis. Oram who is the Young Woman's President. She use to be one of Coco's YW leaders.
This is the tables that were set up with each of the girls projects they had been working on along with a head shot of each of the girls. E'lyse has been learning how to play the guitar. This is for her talent.
More of the Young Woman's projects......
And more.
In our church the youth are so wonderful. They are taught to strive to live as Jesus did. The young men are given the opportunity to earn their Eagle Scout award and the young woman are to earn their Young Woman's Recognition Award. It is a lot of work and takes many hours of the week and almost a full 4 years to achieve. They are encouraged to work on different aspects of their life, to reach goals and accomplish this by the time they turn 18.
Last night they served a yummy dinner and then had speakers, beautiful musical numbers and our Bishop spoke. The girls all then sang a song. It was so beautifully decorated with twinkling lights across the ceiling , white tablecloth's, pretty center pieces and just a wonderful ambiance for the spirit to be felt. The desert was beautifully decorated cupcakes. The girls each received a necklace with the Young Woman's torch on it to remind them that when they are not feeling so like they have the light that he is there for them. It was a wonderful evening. The YW leaders in our ward are awesome and I am so grateful for them and all they do for these girls.
On to Whatcha Working on Wednesday. Leslie is so sweet to host this every Wednesday and helps to keep us motivated. Today is the first day of October! Time to decorate for Halloween. I am in search for a round table for my entry way. I have had an idea cooking in my head since August for this table scape. I am planning on doing the decorating after a little bit of errand running this morning. I am also needing to do some scrap booking in a bad way. The erg hit me yesterday so I will scrap later today. I will share what I got done and maybe more pictures of it all. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

It is time for Whatcha Working on Wednesday with Leslie . With only 98 Days till Christmas, Yes you heard right 98 DAYS till the big day I would love to say that I have a handle on all my projects that I have planned for it. But, I don't so I my game plan for today is: Run errands to finish up Birthday shopping for Gabby's Birthday on Friday, along with picking up grocery items needed. Coming home and starting in on those Christmas gifts. Some I will share when I am working on them others I won't due to who might be reading this. I have so many ideas in my head and when I went to Deseret Book store the other day I found this and it added so some of the things to make.
I love Mary Engelbert's art work and this is chalk full of fun things to make. Including a Santa Doll. I collect Santa's and have been wanting to add another craft to my fun list. So this is what I have planned and I will let you know how I progress later today.
Yesterday evening the Alan, the girls and I went with Coco and Talmage (Kyle was still at work), to see the model of the home they are buying. She is going to have it so cute and homey when they get in there. What fun ! Makes me want to move again. Shhhh ..... Don't tell Alan! Anyway the girls were getting hungry so we were going to leave and Kyle showed up and Alan and him wanted to walk the trench that is dug and the start of the footing. So Alan said he would ride home on Kyles bike with him. Mind you it is a sporty type bike, it is a Yamaha (not a Harley, can't believe it is parked in front of my house!) JUST KIDDING COCO!!! Anyway so this would have been a perfect Kodak moment to get this picture. So Coco, E'lyse and I waited and waited out front for them. This is E'lyse coming out to join us. She was a little annoyed because Coco and I kept taking pictures of her as she was walking out.

So we stayed out there for a while longer and they didn't show. By the way dinner was in the oven and luckily I had it all ready to pop in the oven. After I was done putting the children's sandwiches in there lunch boxes I decided to put all the ingredients in the pan so I could just pop it in the oven. Big time saver was having already had my pre-cooked chicken cut up for in the casserole. On my way back inside the house I decided to share a picture of our front door. I had decorated for Fall over the weekend with Gabby helping me.
So this is it for now. I better go for now I need to get kiddos ready for school and myself to run errands. Check in later. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
