Hot Fudge Fun

Today after school Gabby pulled her other front tooth out. She may not have any teeth left is she keeps this up either that or the tooth fairy will go broke. She is such a nut and so proud of herself!
Tonight as we were finishing up dinner I mentioned that a hot fudge sundae sounded good. Alan said, “Yes it does, who wants one? “ Of course the girls all wanted one. Dallas was at Mutual so we went to McDonalds to get one.(Meredith the second picture is for you.) There was a young man that came in and I asked if I could take a picture of his shirt for you. He was kind enough to let me. I thought it was cool!
The hot fudge sundaes were very yummy and not too big. We played some video games with the girls when we were done eating.
I wanted to get a picture of E’lyse pretending she fell like the guy on the Wet Floor sign and she couldn’t get the pose right so Alan showed her how it was done and a worker caught us. It was funny so that explains the redness of E’lyse’s face.
The picture of the sign just struck me funny! I don’t know why.
We had a good time. So now we are home and getting ready for bed. I will chat with you all tomorrow. Have a wonderful night sleep! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

P.S. There is an upcoming contest tomorrow for all who read my blog!!! Dun Dun Dun Tune in tomorrow for all the details.

Then I went to Michaels I had a 40% off coupon and was so excited to find this new toy, I mean tool to use. It is going to be so much fun. So I need to get the fun new things put away, get dinner going and then I can play and make something fun with what I got today. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Turtle Time, The N and Scrapin'

Saturday evening Alan took Faith and Gabby to the movies to see Penelope. Dallas was out with his friends. So it was E’lyse and I at home. As you know I have been working on my spring cleaning so with that comes new storage boxes. I bought E’lyse blue for her winter close and she decided to pretend to be a turtle. I think she has been watching the movie Master of Disguise too much.
The letter “N” is one that I decorated for our entry way 2 weeks ago. I have wanted to do some of the letters and letter books for a while. So now that I have done the letter on to some of the word book. They are so cute and fun!
The last picture is of the 2 scrapbook pages I did last night to fill my craft need for the day. I am planning on doing some more fun craft/decorating things this week.
We are off for Stake Conference at 12. Have a great Sunday. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Missing lady

That missing lady would be me! I have been so bad about blogging lately. Pictures would have been on here but NO my camera is being odd and my cell phone will not send my pictures to email. Boy does that make it hard on me. Anyway this is what I have been up to.
Saturday morning we met up with Coco and Kyle in Coolidge to get Talmage. We did a little shopping then lunch. Kyle’s teacher had a timeshare in Tucson and offered for him and Coco a little get away. I think they had a good time. It was really nice of Karen to do that for them. Talmage was so fun and cute!! I sure love the little man. It was strange having a baby to take care of full time since it has been 7 years for me. LOL Coco and Kyle came to get Talmage on Sunday morning. They went to church with us and ended up staying the night. We have our Family Home Evening on Sundays due to schedules so we played Primary Song charades. They left at 5 am on Monday so Kyle could be back for school. I then started on my projects that I have been putting off due to being sick.
I worked my spring cleaning. We had to bring in our huge white buckets of food storage from the garage to the house, so it wouldn't get ruined and find a place for them. So on Monday I organized closets and food storage. There is still some 3 month supply to rearrange but I am so happy with what I got done.
So today is Tuesday. I got home from my walking the girls to school and wanted Mexican food badly! So I decided to do a little fun stuff in the kitchen before I work on spring cleaning today. I made fresh salsa to start with. I then made Amish Friendship bread. I made for and have 4 loaves to go. While they were cooking I decided since I hadn’t eaten yet I would make a yummy omelet to put the salsa on. So I am putting pics of the goodies I have made. I really need to get to my spring cleaning. Next is the Den or as I lovingly call it my craft room. Have a great day! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

The past 5 days

Boy have I been naughty on keeping up on my blog. Coco, Kyle and Talmage came in on Friday and I was spending time with them and trying to keep things moving around the house. So busy I didn't take any pictures to post.
Alan & Kyle went to a Career Fair and had a good time with a lot of good information to use.
I enjoy having them here it is so fun to spend time with them. We played a game last night called Battle of the Sexes, it was fun and we were winning until this one stupid wild card came up and it was over for us. I have been battling a cold that started on Wed. of last week so that hasn't been fun trying to avoid kissing Talmage too much! They left this morning and I am going to miss having them here.
Last night the little girls didn't seem to have a good time with the game being it was for older people Alan & I are going to do something fun with them. So I better go. I am trying to organize and get some spring cleaning done. Talk to you soon. Have a great day! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Saturday Doings with lots of pics

This morning was a great one. Waking up and making bacon & eggs with my sweetie. We watched the first session of conference together. After this was over, my friend Melony, (her daughter) Taylor,Giona, Faith, Gabby and I did our craft time. We painted some terracotta pots. I think that everyone had fun with that. I still need to embellish mine a bit. We then let the girls decorated cupcakes for themselves and the families.
Melony and I made Inspiration Cans. I have wanted to do one of these for a while. It is full of uplifting scriptures, thoughts and such things.
Alan & Dallas just left for the Priesthood session, the girls are playing with friends and I am going to do some scrap-booking. Some fun time, while the men are gone Then Date Night for me and Al.
I also wanted to include Dallas’ craftiness. He made the rattle snake for his Biome.
Couldn’t resist a picture of my favorite little man, Talmage.
Have a great evening! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

ApRiL fOoLs!!

April fool’s everybody! This morning started out fun. Coco came up with this idea. Before it was time for Dallas to get up for school I ran around and got all the clocks set for 8:30. Then I ran up stairs in a panic telling the girls that it was 8:30 and I fell back to sleep and they were late for school. They were jumping up and rushing to get ready. I then went down stairs and woke up Dallas telling him the same thing. He jumped out of bed too. Well it took the kiddos a total of 14 minutes to get ready to go. I told them I had breakfast bars in the van for them to eat as I drove them. When everyone was ready I said I really felt like we needed a prayer. So I proceeded to say the prayer with the family. And this is what I said, “Our dear Father in Heaven I pray that thou will forgive me because and then I yelled April fool’s!! The kiddos were so surprised. The good thing is there was enough time to go to the park and play before we walked to school. So the pictures of 5 of my favorite people are here. The first picture is of my April fool dinner. I made meatloaf (cocoa rice crispy treats, chocolate & butterscotch sauce for the gravy). Mash potatoes (Ice cream), and the green beans or snow peas (eatable peanut butter play-dough). It was great to see the family’s faces as they tried the plate of goodies. I did have the exact thing made in real food for dinner in the oven. It was so fun to make all these goodies and play tricks on the kiddos. Have a great night. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
