Pink Saturday Giving Thanks

How Sweet the Sound
Joining in on Pink Saturday at How Sweet The Sound  that Beverly is hosting.
Today's Pink Saturday theme is Giving Thanks
I have been doing a Thankful November where each day I put what I am thankful for
I am so grateful for all the many gifts, talents and blessing that the Lord has blessed me with
At times I get down but I am truly blessed with so much in my life daily.
This Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving with the family as many did in the US
It was a good day filled with family, fun and good food.
I am also thankful for wonderful cyber friends who create beautiful blogs that entertain and teach me.

Pink Saturday Autumn Welcome

It has been a while since I joined in on Pink Saturday with How Sweet The Sound.
I appreciate Beverly allowing me to participate in this again.
The theme is Autumn Welcome
This is my favorite time of the year.
I love the colors, the change in weather from the heat to much cooler temperatures.

My share today to help welcome in Autumn

These little double stacked pumpkins just make me smile

In the kitchen above some of the upper cabinets sit some of my pumpkin selection
A Thankful sign I got at Hobby Lobby a few years back
Our dining room table ( I think I need to glitter up the pumpkins a bit)
And my PINK  touch for this Pink Saturday are flowers from Alan with pink ting tings in them
I hope everyone is having a fantastic Pink Saturday.
Don't forget to reset your clocks tomorrow ( so glad we don't do that here in AZ).
Enjoy your weekend!

Pink Saturday & Poser

It has been a while but I decided to do a Happy Pink Saturday post.
For this Saturday I am posting a little flower pot with paper flowers that Gabby made a while back for me.

On Tuesday we went to the Cardon Children's Medical Center for Gabby's remicade treatment. We had some time to kill due to the prior authorization not being made so we had to wait to get word if she would be able to get it or not. So we get there at 8 her appointment is at 8:30 and I finally remembered to take my camera with me to snap a picture that she and I had talked about when there before.
Luckily I usually have a book in my purse so she posed with the girl reading bronze statue that is in the lobby area of the center
Gabby and girl reading
We still had time to wait. Gabby had bought some toys for donation to the hospital so we went up to the floor that she stays on when there to deliver them.
One of our favorite Child Life Service workers, Meredith, came out. It was so great to see her. We have missed her. When Gabby was in last year she would constantly bring Gabby crafts to work on and invite her to the special room they have to have craft time or music activities with her.
The hospital is amazing and so are the staff there.
Gabby is going to be holding a toy drive for Christmas to take to the hospital. More on that to come very soon.
This week was going by very slow then all of the sudden it is Saturday again.
I will hit 4 weeks on Monday of recovery and just 2 more weeks of wearing the brace and depending on people to do so much for me. It is making me a little crazy.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Pink Saturday

A little late in the day for my post I got busy cleaning and I forgot to post! OOPS!
Happy Pink Saturday ! For my Pinks this week I wanted to share these:
This is a sweet little frame I found at the dollar store for my craft room. I haven't found the right picture for it yet.
This is one thing there never seems an end to with a house of mostly girls (along with Bobby Pins)
Last but not least one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. Hubby bought this for me about 5 years ago. It is so ME!
Stayed up a little too late last night. Hubby and Dallas went out of town for some fun hunting guy time. E'lyse spent the night at a friends house. Faith, Gabby and I went to Coco, Kyle and Talmages house to watch "Madagascar 2" last night. Well, Faith, Gabby and Kyle watched it, Talmage went to bed and Coco and I watched some shows on TLC and laughed. Had a good time! We were very tired when we got home but baths still had to be done, scripture reading and prayer.
My plans for the day while the boys are still gone is organizing things around the house that are absolutely driving the queen nuts! And believe me it isn't a long drive. he he
Alan is taking the two younger girls to a Daddy Daughter dance tonight at their school so I have a lot to get done before they get home.
Hope you all have a great Pink Saturday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Pink Saturday

It's time for Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly at How Sweet The Sound. You can go over to her blog to find all the other lovely people who celebrate Pink Saturday.
My Pinks to share today are these beautiful Calalily's . I just love the sexy swoop in them. Oh how I love flowers and hubby knows my taste so well.

The next are my fuzzy frames for my craft room. I just adore the HOT PINK one.
I have had these for a while just waiting to get my craft room organized so I have a better place to display them.
The last items are material that I got there is about 4.5 yards that I bought the other week at a yard sale for $1.50. I was so excited about my treadmill that I forgot. Not sure what I will make with them but love the color! Maybe a sassy apron or skirts for the little girls. Hmmm just not sure.
So these are my Pinks! Hope you all have a great Pink Saturday. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Pink Saturday & Clarify Yesterdays Rant

It is time for Pink Saturday! My Pinks for today are this blouse I found at Wal-Mart. It is a Fascia color and fits so nicely. I love the bling on it!
This serving bowl, not sure of the exact name of it I showed earlier this week on a post. It just reminds me of something Lucy would have had at a party.
Little Gabby just came in a gave me this sweet little box with handles. It will be part of Valentines decorations. She bought it for me because it was PINK.
Last night we went out to dinner with my brother Mark, his wife Renee' , Coco and Kyle. We went to the Texas Road House. Great food, Great company and LOUD! Wow! It was like one of my families parties. We had a great time especially afterwards. We went to the parking lot to talk. Mark and Renee' are starting up a sign shop in their town of Taylor, Arizona. The made this great sign for me: . I love it! It will hang in my kitchen.
To clarify yesterdays rant: I have nothing against the color of Pres. Elect Obama. They have made such a stink about him and it doesn't matter what color he is. He is a man who won the election . I wish him the best and hope he can make a change in the country I just don't hear any of the changes other than taking guns away. But my point of the rant was a stinking highschool English teacher trying to push her political beliefs on my kid and other children in the class instead of teaching about English. They are not even studying about politics at all. They are studying English Literature, the great story put into plays. For the comment from applauz4443. I think you thought I was attacking him by color but I wasn't and we have read Martin Luther King. Have you read about Joseph Smith? Now there is another great man. But we don't have a day for him. And as far as maybe never waking up with nothing but hope. I have been there the last 2 years of hubby being unemployed having to feed and cloth 4 children, pay mortgage and food along with the other necessities of life. I have hope but more I have a great faith that things will be okay. I don't live with a gloom and dome attitude that the media wants us to live. Done with that now.
Off to get some work done. Have a great Pink Saturday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Pink Saturday

It seems like I haven't participated in Pink Saturday in forever, so today I am. If you want to check out more PINK SATURDAY gals blogs pop on over to Beverly's blog
How Sweet The Sound and there is a long list to pick from.
Today's post is my beautiful Pink Christmas tree that is in the master bath:
Sweet Pink tree lit up
Silk flowers and beautiful dark Pink ribbon to surround it.
My Pink jewel flower to top it off.
I love this tree it my favorite one in my house and Coco did a great job making it so pretty for me. I enjoy sitting in the bath and having the wonderful glow of Pink in my bath.
Today I am off to help Coco get her house painted and moved in. The family is going over to paint, babysit, put shelves in the garage and other such things to help them get settled in this coming week. The house is pretty but Coco will make it a beautiful home.
I will probably take pictures throughout the day and share them later.
Have a wonderful Pink Saturday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday! If you don't know what Pink Saturday is you can go over to Beverly's blog How Sweet The Sound . It is Pink things on parade! I wanted to share my new little doggy treat container that houses the sweet treats for my Nellie in my craft room. This is Nellie on her bed And this is her treat container side view and the top . The next picture is the sweetest little wrapping paper from Target. 40 sq ft for $1.00 bargin city. I think the little penguins on it are so cute and in Pink even

Oh by the way Nellie does wear a Pink collar with jewels on it but her hair is too long to see it. I have been trying to get a picture for a while of it but can't catch her at the right time.
Anyway, today is preporations for Thanksgiving, getting ready for the Sabath, organizing shelves and what ever else creeps into my day. Go have yourself a great PINK SATURDAY! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Posting Early for Pink Saturday. My Trick or Treating fun!

Happy Pink Saturday to you ! My Pink to share is first Gabby being the Pretty Pink Princess. The second one is one of the things that makes me feel like a true lady.
I know EWE feet! No Pink Toenails!!! This is my favorite color. So these are my Pinks to share.
Now to get one thing off my chest. I am sooooo glad that Halloween is over. Tonight Alan had to work late. Dallas went with a group of friends to Trick or Treat (although I don't know who will give someone with a beard candy).
This is Dallas as a Biker. He wore my dew rag and I got him a shirt and painted flames on the skull. (Chip off the old block, a wanna be Harley owner).

So I was dreading taking out my younger two by myself. I was even trying to bribe them with a bag of their favorite candy to stay home and hang out. I found out that one of E'lyse's friends couldn't go out with out an adult being with them so her mother and I decided to walk all together. So there was 8 of us. Here is a picture of me with my girls
I didn't dress up other than my pearls tonight! This is E'lyse's buddies that went with us minus her friends little brother & mother.
Cortney, Joey and E'lyse.
We did a lot of walking and talking. But boy I am glad there is one year till we do it again.
I am looking forward to the planning and preparing for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Hope you all have a great Pink Saturday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo
