Hard to believe 18 years ago today Alan and I went to the hospital to have our first child. After 3 years of me wanting so badly to have a baby. Going to fertility specialist and doing a bunch of test I almost gave up. In October 1989 I went to the specialist and he sat me down told me I needed to find a job I love and it will happen. That there was nothing wrong with Alan or me. So I looked for a job and got hired on as a Chapter 1 Teacher at Adams Elementary. I loved teaching the children to read and write stories!In the beginning of December I was training for a marathon and went on my morning run and just couldn't complete the five miles for that day. I was just sick and it continued for the next few days. So I went to the Doctor on December 4Th and sure enough I was pregnant.
On the morning of July 31st Alan and I went to the hospital and a few hours later little Coco was born. She was such a beautiful little baby with dark hair and dimples. She was such a blessing and still is! It is amazing how much love you can have for one person so quickly and this is the way I felt for Coco. I wanted her so much! Coco I love you and I am so proud of the beautiful young lady you have become and the wonderful mother you are. Happy Birthday kiddo!!

Our babies grow up just way to fast! I love the baby pics. Hard to believe she's grown up and has her own baby now, and what a cutie he is too.
