Making My Home Sing Monday

For this Monday's Making My Home Sing my plans are for incorporating my fun and fitness into the day with my kiddos. Summers here, in Arizona it can get pretty hot and uncomfortable. It makes in hard to want to go outside and play in the afternoon when it is hitting in over the 100 degree mark. Going on bike rides, walks, playing at the park and doing most of our outdoor activities in the morning will be much more tolerable. The rest of the days will be filled with things that need to be done, crafts, movies and reading. Errands to the library weekly will help out a lot.
You can join in on the fun over at Mom's The Word blog.
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

It's so funny to get all the different weather reports. Most in th PNW are just now able to get outside and you are already too hot! We're fast getting that way, we get humid though and that's almost worse!
Happy Monday!

I knew of a gal who would let the kids out to play at 5 or 6 a.m. and they would play outside for hours, then stay inside the rest of the day because of the heat. Of course, they went to bed early.

I think your plan is a great one! Lots of fun indoor things! Keeps the kids busy and happy!

Thanks for joining up today. I am going to fix your link as you actually linked to the cake receipe (which looks yummy) instead of your MYHSM post!

That's what I need to do when it comes to gardening, otherwise it doesn't get done! Great reminder.

Mornings are best for attitudes too! Then maybe you can wear them out and have a relaxing afternoon... or time to make a stellar dinner :)

Great plan! :D It is hot here but not nearly as hot as where you are. Ugh!

Great idea! My son and I started this last summer. We would go for a walk before I took my morning shower. Worked great! Hopefully we will get started again soon now that school is over for the summer.
