Not fishing for compliments first of all just wanting to get ever ones take on this topic.
When I was younger and modeling I had always heard that the camera puts on 10 pounds. Okay so my daughter is taking pictures of me for on my blog and HOLY CRAP it looks like there is 20 pounds added. I look at it and think do I really have those wrinkles, my eyes aren't that small and my hair doesn't look like that in the mirror. What is up with that! I don't feel like I look like I do. I think someone changed my picture while I wasn't looking.
I don't think pictures do me justice anymore. I use to love to have my picture taken, but now it is as far away from the front of the lens as possible for me.
Does everyone feel this way?
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

I feel the very same way! No pictures please unless you photoshop me and make me pretty (LOL).

I definitely feel that way! I keep wondering who the fat girl is in the pictures until I realize it is me. I think its in our genetic makeup as women to look at pictures of ourselves and pick it apart!
Absolutely...but I am trying to get in front of the camera more often...I am always behind it!
When I see a picture of me, I think "who is that old women?!" So, yes, I do feel that way.
I have noticed about the last 5 years, my pictures have gone downhill BIGtime. I used to be extremely photogenic, and now I just cringe at any regular snapshot. I always look st puffy and I never have enough lipstick on. And don't even get me started on the body! I just try not to pick myself apart but its really hard.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I just posted the last Disney post....
Hope you will enjoy it. Stop by when you have some time. I love all my new blog friends.
I stopped getting pictures at 5th grade because I have never liked how I looked :)
The older I get, the more it seems like my smile is changing. I used to be able to take a good picture every time someone said "cheese." I stopped and posed (hate candids.) Now one of my eyes is all squinty and it is just weird.
(Hey, I finally got on your blog! How strange was that!?)
