Chicken Packets

Recipe for Chicken Pockets
Ingredients for mix:
2 cups cooked, chopped chicken
1 3 ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 Tbs. chopped chives
2 Tbs. milk
Salt to taste

1/2 cup crushed, seasoned crouton crumbs or sesame seeds
2 pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls.
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine

Mix chicken, cream cheese, chives, milk, and salt in a medium bowl. Mixing with hands or a fork.
Open and unroll crescent rolls. Each tube will contain 4 or 8 rectangles of dough with a diagonal perforation. Press dough along each perforation. Place a spoonful in the center of the rectangle and fold over, almost so it looks like a diaper. Pinch edges together. Then put melted butter in a bowl or use a pastry brush and brush it on the filled cresents. Sprinkle on crushed croutons or the sesame seeds.
Place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 350* oven for 20 minutes or until they are golden brown. Packets are good either hot or cold.
These are great meal that is requested on most Birthdays. Easy, inexpensive and yummy!
Have a great evening. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
