Today I went to the doctor for my pinky finger that the skin has come completely off and won't grow back.So due to it is almost twice the size it should be, red and ozing nasty stuff. (Sorry I hope no one was snacking while reading this). I decided it was time to go. The doctor said the skin that was left was as thin as paper and badly infected. So he gave me some ointment to help it heal after soaking it in an iodine solution for 10 min. Also gave me antibiotics for the infection. I also have the infection in my ears too. Sheesh! Is there anyone else who get's infections in their ears this often?
So hopefully my skin will be somewhat better by next Tuesday when Coco, Kyle and Talmage are sealed in the Temple.
The doctor also laughed at me for doing everything that I shouldn't be doing to help it. He said I might need help for my OCD with washing my hands too.
And last but not least I can't do dishes until it has grown back. Great but it is a pain to type without my pinky.

That sounds miserable! I hope it heals over.
Uuuuuh, my mother was the same way about washing her hands and they were red and raw most of the time. Use rubber gloves when doing chores, put on a GOOD lotion and obsess about something else other than germs, sweetpea! I know this from "personal experience," sugar!

Ouch! I have eczema on 3 of my fingers and palm of my right hand...it is terrible to have booboos on your hands. Hope it heals quickly!
Your poor hand! I hope it gets better but at least you can get out of doing the dishes for a while!
P.S. I get ear infections a lot too. I get them at least 3-4 times per year - it seems that its where my infections like to start.
Not to self...pinky infection can get me out of doing dishes....hmmm wonder what works to get out of laundry???
