Yesterday after the girls got home from school Alan decided to take them fishing. This is one of Gabby's favorite things to do with dad. The girl loves to fish! As they were driving up Faith remembered that at the field trip yesterday Alan had picked up some pamphlets on wild game and fish. So she got them and was reading about the fish and remembered the names when they caught 2 yellow bass, Alan said she knew what kind they were. Here are the pictures of the girls at the river.Hubby isn't very original with poses!
Looks like Gabby was hungry! They were pretty happy with what they caught. There won't be a fish fry yet I think they will have to go fishing a few more times to have enough for the family. They had fun and got ice cream on the way home. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

How fun! Those are some great memory builders, fishing during the school week, nothing beats it! Sweet pictures of the girls, is that Gabby with her mouth sooo very close to the dead fish, ewwww! Can you tell I'm not a fisher?

Thanks for the comment on the penny rug! our daughter loves to fish with her dad and most of the time out fishes him. He taught her how to fly fish last summer and she loves it. as for the snow a few days of 90 degree weather sounds nice right now. i am over all this snow, but it looks like we might have it again into the end of april. last year it snowed in May. i am just so ready to plant flowers and try to get a garden going again this year. to bad nothing can go in the ground until the first week or 2 of june.
