Pink Saturday & Window Treatments

Today is another Pink Saturday at Beverly's Blog. I think pink is a fun color. So I couldn't make up my mind of what picture to post so why not all of them.

This is one of my cute little Bubble Bath Gel thingies on one of my newest favorite scrapbook papers.

This is a fun scrap booking tool for holes for eyelets and brads, or you can use it for the thin wood to punch holes in it. It was well worth the money.

This picture is my new little sign for my van, my pink B that I have had for several years and a positive notes jar that I made in May, I believe. All posing on my newest favorite scrapbook paper.

Today is a big budget day planning and goal setting for DH and I. I am excited about this. We have fallen off the budgeting band wagon so now we need to refocus and get too it. We are also going to hang the curtain rods and curtains in our great room. I got some great energy efficient curtains that are to block out 99% of the light. You might think that this will make the room dark but we have high windows that are above these that have my decorations on them so there will still be light but not the sun blaring through the lower big windows. And we live in Arizona so there you go SUN shine almost year round.
These are the windows minus the boxes now, I have been trying to rearrange to make things more efficient. This is the first one it was taken at about 10 am. See how the sun comes through the top windows?
Then this is the other 2 that are across the room from the first one.
Oh I also have moved my sectional around to make the room look not as big and too roomy.
Coco, Kyle and Talmage are leaving to go up camping with his family in Round Valley in the White Mountains over night. I will miss them but hope that they have fun and enjoy the beauty and the weather for me.
So that is it for now. I will check in a little later. May you all have a fun Pink Saturday. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Hi Bobby Jo, love all your pink pictures. I noticed you live in Queen Creek. My husband has family there, we go there quite often. We live in Southern California.
Happy Pink Saturday!

I like your pink items. The scrapbook paper is nice too! I have a tool just like that. I've used it to punch through a clip board and a cookie sheet!!!

I like your Christmas countdown. How fun. I guess I really need to get busy on my gift making.

Happy Pink Saturday!

take care,
Dawn

Your scrapbooking looks so pretty!

And was most interested how you organised light into your rooms! Too much glare in a room can be very tiring, apart from over-heating the room!
