Happy Birthday Dallas

Today is our son Dallas' 16Th Birthday. 16 years ago a sweet little 8lb. & 22 inch long baby boy joined our family.

These are pictures of him at 1 month and at 2 yrs. old. He always has had a easy going spirit and very quick to get over being upset. He use to fall asleep in sacrament until closing song would start then he would just start crying.
Now he just falls asleep until the end. he he
One of the funniest things that happened and he will never live down is when he was 5 years old. He came to the dinner table to eat and all of the sudden he says, " I kissed Brea on the lips, and I LIKED it! " We laughed so hard. This was the neighbors granddaughter he was talking about.

He will be going for his license next week, due to not getting him in to get the permit late. He is growing into such a handsome young man. He is now 125 Lbs. and 5' 11" . He is in training to be a fireman. He has played baseball since he was 7 and loves the game. He no longer has the invisible pitch going either (for those who know what this is.) He has played football in the past but I think his heart belongs to baseball.
The poor guy is constantly surrounded by his 4 sisters. Good training to be a good husband some day. His father picks at him endlessly because he is still a little gullible and it is way to much fun. We love him very much. Happy Birthday BIG-D or Deeder ! This is a picture of Dallas from the 4Th of July. His trademark thumbs up!

Good looking young man there Bobbi Jo, so they do grow out of the geeky 12 year old stage. There's hope for my SMRT boy.

Bobbi Jo, Thank you for the comment! Gus's uncle is healing well. He will fly home in a few weeks. I sure hope they get a moose tomorrow. Last year they went out the second weekend in September. To some it seems silly to be upset about not getting a moose. It sure saves on the food bill. Has no fat and so much better for you. Hope you have a great weekend!
