Pink Saturday~ Deck The Halls

Joining in with Beverly over at How Sweet The Sound
for Pink Saturday
The theme this week is ~Deck the halls~
This year I have not gone all out with decking the halls like years past.
I am not sure why. It isn't that I don't like Christmas I love Christmas
Something is different this year I am calmer, not stressing and wanting more of the true
meaning of Christmas to fill the home as never before.
It seems to have gone from 169 days till Christmas to 10 days till SO FAST!
Now for the sharing of Deck the Halls
This is the Christmas tree that Gabby set up in her's and Faiths room
An ornament she made from packing popcorn (or as we call it ghost poop)
when she was in the hospital in 2009
The pretty Angle she made for the top of the tree
 Down to the kitchen
My Mary Engelebreit "Bowly Chair"
My collection of soft Santa's in the dining area
Herby hanging on a candy bar ornament in the kitchen
This is in the entry way of our house
My snowman collection
Many of these were gifts or I made
Opps cut of snowman's head
In the living room on my hope chest are the tree trees.

This is a book that many years ago I thought was so sweet so I have 3 trees (several sets of different kinds)
due to this book The Tale of Three Trees
On the piano are my manger collections and of course my Jesus statue that is always on there.
Our 9 ft. Christmas tree in one corner
And my Pink decorated tree in one of the other corners.
I am excited for Christmas time
It will be much different this year than in years past
We only have 3 of our kiddos living at home
Coco & her family will be down around New Years
We will then celebrate Christmas with a gift exchange with them and Dallas & Sara.
Enjoying the season as much as I can
Happy Pink Saturday!

Pink Saturday Holiday Treats

Happy Pink Saturday!
Once again I am joining Beverly over at How Sweet The Sound Blog for Pink Saturday .
This weeks theme is Holiday Treats
Since I am trying to not go over board on goodies I won't be making a bunch of treats.
Yes I have no willpower to avoid eating what I make.
My plans are to make fudge & possibly English Toffee or peanut brittle.
I did want to post a few treats that are not only beautiful to look at but also yummy.
I got these photos off of Pintrest (sorry I don't have the links for them).
I remember when I was a little girl we had these in the house to munch on .
This is one of my favorites. I LOVE fruit!
 These cookies are so cute
 These are crunchy lollipops
 Nuts plus M & M's
 These are doughnut hole snowmen
 Pretty cupcakes
Gingerbread men in a wagon (these make me smile)
Who doesn't like Rice Krispy Treats
I think this is adorable and easy to make
These little Pink tree cupcakes are so pretty
One more touch of Pink. This tree was beautifully decorated by Gabby
She did a good job. Thanks Gabby!
Can you spot Herby in this picture?
He likes hanging out with snowmen
 There he is!

Have a happy Pink Saturday!

Pink Saturday ~ Holiday Porches

I am joining Beverly over at How Sweet The Song for Pink Saturday.
We just got our Christmas decorations down yesterday.
We got one of the trees up (the 9 ft.one)
I will post a picture of our front porch when it is decorated later
For now we can enjoy beautiful pictures from the internet of other peoples porches
This one is sweet
The circle snowman is a clever idea
I have always loved a porch with greenery swag  & red bows around it
Lights always show off the beauty of a porch
I am looking forward to checking out the other blogs on Pink Saturday
to see the beautiful porches.

Happy Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday! Being that I am gone from 6 am till after 3 on Saturdays for clinic I decided to finally post, and post early.
The large round thing is a bolster for under the legs while doing massages. The front one is a childrens bolster that my friend Sylvia bought for me.

This is my sweet little granddaughter Naima Fay. The childrens bolster is bigger than her.
This is Naima at a week old.
This is Naima in training for taking over my spot in the future.
I know there is no pink in this but Talmage is so cute I couldn't resist.
I hope everyone is having a great week and will have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Happy Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday to everyone! It has been a very busy week with school, studying and trying to stay on top of everything. The family has been very helpful with keeping the house under control while I am gone so long everyday. Thank you so much Hubs & kiddos! I haven't posted since last Saturday so I better get to it today! So for this weeks pinks we have as follows:
This is my school notebook with my picture of my dream Harley on it.

This is my book bag for the times I don't have to take in my drapes, towels and other needed items.

This is the crown that sits on top of my computer monitor. You can't really tell but it is a light Pink.

This is my towel for school. I bought 2 sets of the towels so I could have one for school and one for home. I just love the little French Hello Kitty and puppy!

This is the hand towel to the set. The puppy just makes me smile.

Last for this week is my Pink pencils.

So that is it for my Pink Saturday shares. I hope you enjoyed them.
I am loving school and all the amazing instructors. The knowledge that is put out there for us is incredible.
Oh and before I forget you really should go over to our Pink Saturday Host  Beverly's blog How Sweet The Sound and check out her post and there are links to others who love Pink.
I have Monday off for the holiday and have a lot to work on and studying to do this weekend so I better be off.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Pink Saturday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo
