Hey there everyone. I have been missing in blog action. But I am here now!
This morning Gabby had a small rash on her tummy so I put some anti itch cream on her and she went to school. I told her to check in with the nurse if it got itchy again. So she went in before school and got some more anti itch cream and the nurse told her to come back at lunch so she could check it. Gabby goes in at lunch time and the nurse calls me to pick her up and have her checked out.
I take her to Urgent Care to have her checked. The doctor looks at the rash and says she has the udult form or chickenpox Shingles. What? She is only 8 years old. So we got her on the antibiotics, Motrin and Benydryl for the itch and pain. These Shingles show only on one side of the body. It is crazy! Poor little Gabby she is trying so hard not to itch and there isn't much she can do.
Now for what I miss. I miss this little buddy of mine and is wonderful personality that makes everyone smile.
And them around our house. They are struggling with decisions right now please pray for them.
I love you Coco, Kyle and Talmage and miss you more than you know.
I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday already. This week has flown by. I will try harder to keep up on my blog and stay up with the wonderful days of accomplishing things with you other beautiful ladies.
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Poor Gabby! I feel for her... I only have about 11 mosquito bites and they itch like CRAZY! Hope she feels better soon!
Hope Gabby feels better soon and I hope that cute little family is able to make the decisions they are facing.
Oh I feel for Gabby! I had chicken pox twice and then got shingles as an adult! The shingles were bad-just bad! Hope she has speedy recovery! I will lift up your family in prayer.
Well that is certainly scary... an 8 year old with shingles. I've been going back and forth if I should get the vaccination. I hope it doesn't get tooo painful. I'll definately add her to my prayers.
I love the squeezable checks.. Such a cutie and such a fun picture.
What in the world? I had no idea a child could get that. I hope she is well soon.
Poor baby!
I never heard of what Gabby has, poor thing. And I feel your pain, I know all too well how it feels to be away from family....but, it'll be fun to visit them in Pinetop!
