Sweet Grandbabies

This past weekend Coco and Kyle went away to Sedona for an anniversary get away.
Due to the fact when it is their real anniversary Coco will be about 8 months pregnant and probably not wanting to travel too far away from home.
Sadly I didn't take a bunch of picture of the grand babies. I think it was just one of those things that they are so busy doing this and running there that I didn't think of it.
Other than the pictures below of the kiddos when they were up in our room playing.
For some odd reason Nellie's (my dog) dog bed mush be super comfy
This is Talmage just hanging out with a broken cell phone pretending he is talking to someone
 Naima loving on the dog
Naima when she was playing in the girls room with Faith and Gabby
Oh no not so happy here
 Making faces with Nie
Love this picture of true happiness on her face
Naima and Talmage played in my bathtub for about 45 minutes.
I kept making sure the water was staying warm.
They had so much fun with the washcloths I gave them
Coco and Kyle came home on Sunday and we celebrated E'lyse Birthday.
I think they had a good time I know we did with the kiddos. Such happy and sweet little ones.

Doughnut or Donut

Checking the spelling on the tasty little round pastry you can spell it either way
(I've heard it either way~ Shaun Spencer of Psych)
Gabby and her BFF Ainsley decided to make a  little treat of doughnuts.
Our sweet neighbors JR. & Kim ( the people that make the AMAZING egg- rolls, bought this for our family at Christmas time.
I think the girls used every kind of sprinkle I had for the Holidays on these little cuties.

Doughnuts or donuts posing for a picture before the girls devoured them.
Not a dull moment between these two

E'lyse Is 16

Our third child E'lyse turned 16 on March 15TH but had other plans for celebrating her big Birthday.
E'lyse wanted to go out with her Dad, Alan for a date and some Birthday shopping.
Then a week later her and a group of friends got to go see the early showing of some movie you might have heard of called "The Hunger Games". I joke I don't know how you could miss hearing about it from somewhere or someone. So E'lyse requested that when Coco, Kyle, Talmage and Naima were in town we do the Birthday dinner to celebrate and that we did.
I cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, made macaroni salad and pickled eggs.
And for her Birthday cake I made a Perfectly Perfect Chocolate Chocolate Cake with peanut butter frosting.
This is the cake

This is E'lyse as we are singing to her
Make a wish and blow out the candles
Then of course our new tradition of shoving ALL the candles
in your mouth and getting a lovely picture!
I am also proud to say that her Dad took her last Friday and she got her drivers license
( so watch out when your walking on the sidewalks! ) Just kidding she is a good driver.

Starting Over Almost

So like a lot of other people at the New Year I had all these things I was going to do this year starting over starting fresh. Just to fill you in on a secret (that honestly isn't so secret) I am major OCD in some things, okay most things. If I mess up a little I think what the heck why should I even continue to try and so therefore I end up bummed and upset with myself.
So I like many didn't follow through with all my great INTENTIONS!  Well I have been doing a lot of research, soul searching and trying to figure out just what I am to do. I have come to the conclusion I NEED to learn to love me for who I am no matter what I look like, feel like or think I feel like. So this is what I am working on. I am also working on eating healthier, not totally depriving myself of the things I like or think I like but cutting back on the things that make me feel like, excuse my French, CRAP, I don't know if that is French or not but that is how I talk so trying to keep it real here.
I am also wanting to follow the lead of a friend and my daughter, Coco by eliminating one thing at a time that aren't good for me or don't help me to achieve those goals that I have in my life.
A while back I gave up soda and diet soda. I was feeling good, then one day I was getting lunch and I gave in and had one. Well one diet soda let to another and I was drinking them way to often.
This is what I will be giving up. My favorite well and only soda I dink is Diet Coke.
   Dear Diet Coke,
I will now bid you farewell my slurpybubblishesness of addiction. As of March 18Th  I don't want to try you again ever. We had a good time together all those wonderful meals that you seemed to have completed for me but this is the end. I don't like the way you make me feel. Leaving me with a headache hangover in the morning, the bloated feeling after I have drank you and wanting more to eat and drink. So this is the end of our relationship. Wishing you all the best!
 Sincerely, Bobbi Jo
I hope you will all support my decision to give this up. Thank you! Hugs, Bobbi Jo
Shortly after I was done with this post I saw this on the website Mind Body Green so I just had to post it.

New Beginnings

      Young Women Theme pink flower

WE ARE DAUGHTERS of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him. WE WILL “STAND as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places” (Mosiah 18:9) as we strive to live the Young Women values, which are:
Faith • Divine Nature • Individual Worth • Knowledge • Choice and Accountability • Good Works • Integrity • and Virtue
WE BELIEVE as we come to accept and act upon these values, WE WILL BE PREPARED to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants, receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.
          (From the LDS website)
The Young Women getting ready to start the skit.
E'lyse came up with the theme from a sign that Faith & Gabby have on their bedroom door
that says." Sisters are different flowers from the same garden."
Above is Bishop Masitis, Alyse and E'lyse. The girls with the half tutus are suppose to be flowers.
As one of E'lyses projects she made this for the night. As the flower stood up the girl would read off what that color value was and the qualities that were learned.
That is Faith in the green shirt with the white flower top on her head.
This is the girls singing the camp song for this year "Arise and Shine Forth"

Macy that is going into Young Woman's

It was a nice evening with the girls. I can't believe that soon all three will be in Young Woman's together.

Pampering Day

Gabby has a new crush his name is Josh Hutcherson who will be in the new movie The Hunger Games. She is a little obsessed about him. Okay a little more than a little obsessed. Anyway she spelled out his name on her nails the last time she painted them.

On Saturday March 3Rd Gabby invited her friend Ainsley over for a Pamper Day. We bought chocolate face masks and she had all of her little party planed out.
They first washed their hair.
This is Ainsley looking cute in her mask

I was at work while they had their morning of pampering. Gabby was using my camera but ran out of space so there is no more pictures of the day but I want to tell you what they did.
While the masks were drying they soaked their nails in a homemade nail growth formula. Then washed the masks off. Followed by manicures then lunch.
After lunch they put on their bathing suits and jumped on the trampoline and basked in the sunlight.
 They had a good time.
I hope to have another pampering day when I am here so I can help out with the fun and take pictures.
Gabby and Ainsley had lots of fun.

Faith's 13TH Birthday

It has been a while since I last posted here on my blog. Life has been going and I have been keeping busy but nothing too blog worthy to post.
Until
On February 16TH we celebrated Faith's 13TH Birthday.
It is hard to believe that she is 13.
Faith was my longest labor but well worth the extra hour I had with her. She has a love for music, plays, the computer, reading and the Gospel.
I can remember when we called the kiddos from the hospital to tell them that we had a girl Coco wasn't a happy camper at all.
She requested spaghetti alla Carbonara for dinner. She also wanted a Red Velvet cake.
Simple dinner but fun time.
This is Faith as we sang Happy Birthday to her. E'lyse at her side.

 Goofy sisters
 Faith being silly
Family tradition of putting all the candles into your mouth.
I think E'lyse wanted to make sure she got in the pictures too
Faith holding up the lip gloss Gabby bought her. Yummy smelling flavors
Faith opening up her big gift from us
She was very excited that she got what she asked for
A kindle! Faith loves to read as much as I do so this was a perfect
gift for her.
The young women in our ward heart attacked our front porch for faiths
I think she had a good Birthday. Friday night Faith had a Birthday party with her friends. It was loud but they had a good time.

Belated Happy New Year

Goodbye to 2011 and welcome in 2012!
What a great New Years Eve Day I had. I had 2 massages and the clients were so much fun to work on. It was a fun way to finish off the year.
On New Years Eve Alan and I just couldn't stay awake to ring in the New Year so, we asked the girls to get us up at 11:40 so we could celebrate with them.
Alan had bought some fireworks for them and they couldn't wait to set them off.
They woke us up and we went outside where a lot of our neighbors were already letting off fireworks.
This is Gabby lighting the first of the little fireworks

This is Gabby running with a sparkler down the street.
 Fireworks in the street
You can see on the ground all of the fireworks
On Sunday the 1ST day of January we headed up to Pinetop to celebrate a late Christmas with Coco and her family.
Dallas wasn't thrilled with me taking a picture but it is kind of my thing on every road trip
Our goofy kiddos. I love them!
This is Talmage, Kyle's legs, Naima, Gabby and half of Coco.
It was so great to spend time with Coco and her family. The grand babies are so much fun.
 Naima, Coco and Faith
One of the reasons Kyle is such a perfect son in love for our family is this.
He is such a fun person. Naima had gotten a hair extension from Gabby so she could play Repunzel. Anyway, Kyle put it on and was goofing around. I went to the bathroom and came out and he was wearing one of Talmage's Army hats and being so funny. We all got a good laugh out of it.
This was outside the bedroom window. I loved how the frost looked on the shingles.
I sat in the second story room looking out and thinking about all the great & not so great things that had happened in 2011. It wasn't the worst year but a challenging one of growing and learning.
I am so excited about this New Year I have felt for the past few weeks that this year is going to be an amazing year. I have set my goals, the steps to make them happen and I am ready for this year.
Wishing everyone an amazing 2012!! Hugs, Bobbi Jo
