Day 9

Wow! It is already Friday I can't believe it. So today is Day 9 and I am to post something I am proud of in the past few days. I am proud that I have been keeping up on this blogging for 30 Days. I have been such a flake on this wanting to blog but life get's busy or it is the same thing to say over and over. So this is it!
 Tonight going to a wedding reception then out to dinner with Alan.
 Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. I am working doing chair massages at Encanterra from 11 to 8. Working the Three Dog Night concert there. Should be a fun day!

Day 8

 Today I am suppose to post short term goals for this month and why. My short term goals for March are:
 Exercise daily, continue to do the 100 Push-ups challenge, clean out and organize closet in MB, organize pantry, make Dinners-In-A-Jar jars, make wheat meat hot dogs and sausage, then make packets for in pantry, finish up second garden area in back yard, continue to have dinner on the table every night at 6, build up business w/ advertising, learn a new part of a modality for massage practice, reading scriptures and church magazine articles, decorate or do something special for St.Patrick's Day, decorate for Spring by March 19th, that is just a portion of my list that is going on.

Day 7

 Todays blog you are suppose to post a picture of someone that has the biggest impact on you. Easy peasy this was a no brainer: Jesus Christ the son of God.

  This is my Savior, my brother, my redeemer, and the person that saved my life so many times. As I have gone through struggles he is there. No matter what he is there to help me up, lift my spirit, and let me know I am a child of God and that I am loved even when I feel the world on my shoulders. Through him all things are possible. He gave his life for us, he is our salvation and gives me hope! I love Jesus and try to be like him. I fall short so many times but all I can do is pick myself up and try again. He is the example of unconditional love, forgiveness and compassion. He is the son of God and will help us to return to him someday.
 I do testify that God is real, that Jesus is with us always and that we can be forgiven. We can be better, loving, giving and more compassionate people if we follow his example. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

 I love Easter not just because of all the yummy chocolate that I devour but the wonderful colors, the bunnies, the sign of Spring being here and the renewed energy in the air. Cooking Class

 This morning I went to a cooking class called "Meatless Meals" taught by Stephanie Petersen (aka Chef Tess) of http://cheftessbakeresse.blogspot.com/ taught at Preparing Wisely at http://www.preparingwisely.com/. This lady is not only beautiful but fun and full of all kinds of information. You really need to read her bio she is AMAZING! Anyway, I had so much fun and learned so much about making wheat meat. Hot dogs of all things were shown how to be made. How fun is that? I can't wait to make them. While we were there she made us a sample of spaghetti with a sausage. It was really yummy! 
  When I had tried to make wheat meat before it was where you have to rinse and rinse and rinse and save the starch and the fiber and then not end up with enough of the gluten to make anything. So I have tried before but this was WAY faster and EASIER! You can make sausage or all kinds, hamburger, chicken and even get this ROAST! Crazy! The can of gluten will last on your shelf  (unopened) for 7 to 8 years. You can mix as you go or she showed how to have the mixes ready on your shelves either stored in plastic bags or for a longer shelf life in a jar with an oxygen absorber packet . COOL BEANS!!
 I know this isn't for everyone but if it comes to the time you don't have meat in the freezer or your budget has been squeezed so tight it is screaming this will be a life saver.
 Now I was a Ovo-Lacto-Vegan for 2 years (meaning I ate dairy products) and I have been leaning more to going to a vegan or raw food diet. I just have a hard time giving up my steaks so this could be a way to go.
 Stephanie aka Chef Tess has 2 cookbooks that come from the compiled blog entries of recipes.  I will be purchasing these books in the next weeks.
 So go on over check out her beautiful blog and try some of the recipes.

Day 6

 On the 6th day of blogging I am suppose to put my favorite super hero and why. My favorite super hero is the Hulk ( well the Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk)

  I never got into super hero's growing up. But of all of them it would have to be the Hulk. It was the only show I watched regularly. I loved his big muscles and admired Lou for all the obstacles he over came. He is one of my all time favorite body builders. Plus he was an awesome color of green!  Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Day 5

 A picture of somewhere I have been:  The picture was taken in the summer of 1983. Right after I graduated from high school one of my best friends invited me to go to Alaska with her. So what is a girl to do but go to Alaska. I loved it and would move there in a heartbeat if Hubs would go.

Here is a picture of Tonya on the left and me (in the pink jacket & raccoon skin cap). We went gold panning out to one of my friends claims for the day. What a blast!

Day 4

 Today is Sunday Day 4: Today I am suppose to post about "A habit that I wish I didn't have." Hmmm where to start, there are so many and I seriously have to pick just one? This is hard for me. Okay I have one that I pulled out of the list of my OCD hat.
 The habit I wish I didn't have is having to be the last one to go to the bathroom before a trip and before bed at night. There it is for the blogging community to see. Unfortunately I know of one of my beautiful nieces has this very same problem. I am so sorry Meredith!
  This weekend has been fun. I went to our Steak Woman's Conference yesterday. It was fun and had wonderful speakers. Then I had 2 massages at Encanterra. I got home about 4:30. Faith had some of her BFF's over for her friend B-Day party. The danced, had pizza, sang, screamed and laughed a LOT!
 This morning I had 3 massages at Encanterra. I was there from 9 till a little after 2. I got home changed clothes and went to church. Luckily this morning I started a roast in the crock pot so when I got home I just had to make mash potatoes/gravy and a salad and TADA dinner. YUMMY! I am wanting to make a chocolate cake but I really shouldn't. I will be tempted to eat it and the 3 girls are sick with colds and feeling yucky! So I will see about it.
 Well it is time to go chill and enjoy the evening. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Day 3

 Today is Day 3 of 30 Days of Blogging. Today I am to post a picture of myself as a child.

In this picture is of one of my brothers Bernie, one of his girlfriends and m. I'm in the pink dress with my go go boots. I think I was about 4yrs. old in this picture but not sure. Don't you love the corvette? One of my all time favorite cars.

Today's question is: The meaning Behind Blog Name?

    Around my house and in my worlds mind I am known as the queen. I love crowns, tiaras and girly stuff. Also my favorite artist is Mary Englebreit so with that being said the name just fell in place.
