Last Post Of 2012

Wow can you believe that it is the last day of 2012?
Holy shnikie it went by very quickly.
It has been a little rough in some areas but easy in some areas.
Some exciting things and some major disappointments.
I am looking forward to the New Year.
I started on my vision board for my New Years resolutions (posting pictures later)
I want to thank you all who take the time to stop by and visit, leave me comments and also write so many wonderful blogs yourselves.
Blogging has been a great thing for me and I plan to keep it up for a while.
This year I am focusing on being more consistent with posts, different challenges
and making changes.
To all my blogging friends I wish you the very best.
May you have a very safe and Happy New Year!
Hugs, Bobbi Jo
UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

Shopping Trip & Dinner Time

Wednesday night Faith, Gabby, Alan and I went on a shopping trip.
Faith needed church shoes and dresses
Gabby needed jeans
We went to Ross and hit the jack pot
Faith got 4 dresses and a super cute pair of shoes
Gabby found 2 pairs of jeans that fit , other than one needs hemmed due to she is a little short
So happy though!
This is Faith as we started out to the city for shopping
Gabby with Faith bombing her with bunny ears
Gabby looking upset at me
 Gabby being Gabby
We then went to my favorite restaurant MiAmigos for dinner
Faith is bound and determined to not let me get a good picture of her
My dinner. Alan and I split a Machaca Chimichanga otherwise we both feel way too full
Faith got a yummy Quesadilla with 2 cheeses and cilantro
Gabby's got chicken strips and french fries (dork)
Gabby and Faith posing for me in random pictures
Faith almost spit chips out laughing too hard
Blurry but I liked the picture anyway
Gabby and Faith being photo bombed by our waiter Chris.
He was a lot of fun and great service
Alan then drove through McDonald's on our way back home and
got Faith and Eggnog shake, Gabby a Flurry and himself an ice-cream cone.
I was a good girl (and I was way too full to have anything).
Had a great time. Wish E'lyse would have been with us but she had other plans.
Love spending time with family, being dorky and having fun.

Christmas Fitness Toys

One of the biggest things they (professionals in fitness) say that one of the main things to help a person be successful in their goals is to have the right tools or gear.
To help me along in reaching my goals and my new lifestyle I desperately needed a new pair of shoes.
These are LA Gear shoes or as the hip kiddos say "Kicks"
Not the highest quality of shoe (sorry LA Gear just being honest) but for just starting out I didn't want to spend a bunch of money. I love the colors they remind me of the Pittsburgh Steelers (my favorite team)
They are super light and that is something I really wanted.
I eventually will get Nike's (they are my favorite all time shoe)
I also asked for this for Christmas it is a
Fitbit. Isn't it cute? It is a pink that doesn't shoe up so well in my picture.
This has a heart monitor, calorie burning, pedometer and a watch on it.
It also has a cute computer face that shows up smiling or frowning depending on how much you are moving.
It syncs up with the computer to keep record of what you have done. On the site you can set goals, keep track of foods and activity.
SUPER COOL!!!
Loving my new fitness toys and super excited about them.
Thank you honey for making my Christmas special.
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Christmas Pictures

A Christmas Eve tradition growing up was that we got to open one gift. It was always new PJ's.
I wanted to continue this with our family and so I have.
This year the girls came up to our room to open their gifts.
They like to wear PJ bottoms with t-shirts so I just got them new PJ bottoms.
E'lyse, Faith (she was sick so not super happy) and Gabby
Silly girls and their colorful PJ bottoms
4:00 am there was a knock on our bedroom door. I open the door
and the girls are standing there ready to go down stairs and open gifts
I went down stairs, turned the lights on the large tree and had to take a picture of it as I do every Christmas morning. I think it is pretty.
Then I told everyone they could come down
Alan, Faith, Gabby and E'lyse heading down stairs.
Alan was a little tired.
E'lyse was the official gift sorter
Faith and Gabby opening up gifts.
Now the bad news!! I am a major bad bad blogger. I didn't take any more pictures.
1. I forgot
2. People weren't liking me snapping pictures of them
3. I was super tired.
We opened gift and talked for a while. Everyone decided we needed some more sleep so we went back to bed. Dallas & Sara were supposed to come over to have breakfast with us as 8:30 so Alan and I got up and started cooking. We had pancakes (plane & chocolate trip), hootenanny ( German Pancake), eggs & bacon,.
It was a really nice, peaceful easy going day.
In the afternoon E'lyses not boyfriend boyfriend came over so they could exchange gifts and he ended up having dinner with us.
We all missed not having Coco and her family here but they will be in this coming weekend and we get to have Christmas all over again.
It was a different Christmas than we have had in the past. I really don't know if it was the medication or what but I didn't stress out and it was really nice.
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful loving family.
I got texts from friends and family wishing a Merry Christmas.
It was a wonderful day with some of the most important people of my life.
I truely hope that all of my blogger friends were blessed with all they had wished for on this special day.

Christmas Eve Errands

It's Christmas Eve! I can't believe it.
I am ready for Christmas. It will be a little odd that we won't have Coco and her family here this year, and Dallas being married will not be here first thing in the morning.
He and Sara are coming over about 8:30 to have Christmas Breakfast with us.

Gabby, Faith, E'lyse and I went to take care of some errands today.
We had a little bit of grocery shopping to do.
I wanted to make sure I had enough of everything we needed for a few days.
We then went to the Dollar Store that is in a Target shopping center.
They have awesome candy canes and huge Christmas balls.
Here is Gabby, Faith and E'lyse
These Christmas balls are so cool!

We had a good time hanging out.
It was a lot of fun.
Even though this will be an different Christmas than we are use to I am sure it will be a good one.
Tonight since it is Meatless Monday we are having Past and Bean skillet for dinner.
Then eggnog and hot chocolate with seasonal marsh mellows.
A quiet evening at home with the family.
What are you doing tonight?
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

He was off looking at something.
We then said goodbye to Cabela's and went to get a late lunch .

The annual Nichols family party that is held on the 23RD of December . This is Alan's dad's Birthday. He would have been 87 yrs. old this year. The party  at 5 pm.
This is a picture of the pretty set up that Linda (Alan's oldest sister set up in her back yard.)
This is E'lyse, Drew, Ty Bowmen (cousin) and Faith.
I was a major LAMEO blogger. I only took the 2 pictures of the party.
Sheesh I even had my camera with me.
When we left the party we drove around a couple neighbor hoods that have beautiful light displays.
I love this house they decorate for every holiday. Such a fun house!
Another shot of the front yard.
Had a good time being with family.
I am such a blessed person to have so many sweet & loving people.
