Family Portrait

A couple of weeks ago we went and had our family portrait taken. Thought I would share it with you.
Back row: Kyle and Dallas
2nd row: Talmage, Coco, E'lyse, Me and Alan
Bottom: Faith and Gabby
I love you all!

Gabby Is Itching

Thank you to everyone with the prayers and well wishes for Gabby and her Shingles. This is a picture of her yesterday eating dinner. Sorry it isn't a great quality I took it with my phone. She put on her snow gloves to keep her from itching herself. She has been wearing them to bed too. She is such a dork! But that is part of her charm.
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. This weekend went by too fast but it has been a good one.
Ready for a new starting of the week. Gonna make it a great one. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Happy Pink Saturday!

Here in the valley of the heat sun it is a wonderful day it is actually raining! Woo Hoo! What better way to start out a Pink Saturday! My theme this week is Wheels that are Pink! Some day I will have the Pinkness on wheels I deserve. So lets get on with the Pinks!
Last week my sweet bloggy friend Scrappy Girl said she was having something Pink on her blog Four Season Farm for me. She put the cation that she found my dream ride. Little did she know I have been telling my kiddos I wanted a Pink Escalade . And here it is. Isn't it just beautiful. I can see myself in that the perfect Mommy Taxi!

This was my dream car growing up a pretty Pink Corvette
This is a nice little Pink vehical to cruse around town The Hummer
Now what gal wouldn't want to ride in a Pink Hello Kitty car I think it is a Ferrari
Then we have the classic pale Pink Thunderbird
This would be a groovey ride a Pink Volkswagon Van
I know I have posted this many time but my ultimate ride the Pink Harley Davidson Herritage Softail.
It gives me goosebumps!
Not for crusing around in but this is such a beautiful Pink on wheels I would love to have this in my backyard.
Not wheels but I had to add my festish with shoes on this Pink Saturday! I love these they look like Pirate boots. A girl would look good getting out of any of the vehicles with these beauties on or cooking at the grill.
Have a great Pink Saturday! Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Crazy Thing And What I Miss

Hey there everyone. I have been missing in blog action. But I am here now!
This morning Gabby had a small rash on her tummy so I put some anti itch cream on her and she went to school. I told her to check in with the nurse if it got itchy again. So she went in before school and got some more anti itch cream and the nurse told her to come back at lunch so she could check it. Gabby goes in at lunch time and the nurse calls me to pick her up and have her checked out.
I take her to Urgent Care to have her checked. The doctor looks at the rash and says she has the udult form or chickenpox Shingles. What? She is only 8 years old. So we got her on the antibiotics, Motrin and Benydryl for the itch and pain. These Shingles show only on one side of the body. It is crazy! Poor little Gabby she is trying so hard not to itch and there isn't much she can do.
Now for what I miss. I miss this little buddy of mine  and is wonderful personality that makes everyone smile.
And them around our house. They are struggling with decisions right now please pray for them.
I love you Coco, Kyle and Talmage and miss you more than you know.
I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday already. This week has flown by. I will try harder to keep up on my blog and stay up with the wonderful days of accomplishing things with you other beautiful ladies.

My BFF

A while back on Facebook my BFF from Grade school and I were reconnected. Now lets back up a bit.
Tracy and her family moved in across the street and a house down from me. We became friends and were almost inseparable till we went to Jr. High. At that point we had different friends and didn't hang out that much.
We graduated from High School and she got married in 1985 and that was the last I had talked with her.
I tried to find her through different avenues but no luck till Facebook. So glad it happened!
Today we met at Mimi's Cafe at the Chandler Fashion Mall. I walked in and used the bathroom seeing a lady in a table near there but I didn't know what she looked like. And then she came up front and found me.
We had a great lunch. I must say the company was way better than the food. It was to catch up on 24 years of our lives. Talking, laughing and laughing more. It was so much fun!
I missed Tracy and so glad to have her back in my life .
Thank you Tracy for your freindship. I love you.
Stay in touch with friends they are so impotant. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Saturday Trip

On Saturday hubby and the three girls were going to take a load of Coco & Kyles things up to them in Pinetop. I was planning on staying home and working on the house and clearing clutter. Dallas had plans for the day so he was going to be gone too. WOO HOO the house to myself to clean up! Now that is FUN!
I woke up the girls and the youngest, Gabby looks up and says to me, " Mommy are you going? "
Me: No. I am going to stay home.
Gabby: But Mommy I want you to go. We can't go without you.
So I gave in and went. We took along the guns, amo and the girls little bow to stop and shoot on the way home. Well of course I took picture to share with you. So get ready for picture overload.

Wow The Week Has Flown By

This week has flown by so fast. I can't believe it is already Friday. Coco, Kyle and Talmage came home and loaded up their items today, well as much as they could take and left to move back to Pinetop. I am sad that they are moving back up there but, they have to do what is best for their family.
The girls made it through another week of school. E'lyse tried out for the basketball team and made it. Way to go DeDe. She has decided she is going to play some sport each season.
Faith has joined the orchestra and is learning to play the violin. She is so excited about it.
Gabby is enjoying school and loves her teacher. She doesn't have homework everyday and is so thrilled with that.
Dallas is doing on line schooling and moving along quickly with his lesons and says he loves it. His grades are really good too.
I am ready for a weekend and have the clean up and organize bug. So I am laying out my plan for attack on clutter. I have also gotten the bug to work on Christmas gifts. I want to do a lot of homemade gifts and decorations. I am working on this list of ideas also.
I hope everyone is having a great week. Sorry I have been missing in blog action I will try to be better.

Monday Catch Up

This weekend was a good one. I can't believe it is already Monday. Today Coco wanted to go be with Kyle at the hospital so I watched Talmage for her. We played Wii baseball together this kiddo has great hand eye coordination. We played outside for a while and then played in side. We then took care of a few errands too. We were gone a good portion of the day and he did so well.
I wanted to share a couple pictures from last night of Talmage. It was requested that I make a cake and so I did. He was a mess but it enjoyed it so much!
The good news tonight is that Kyle was released from the hospital and got to come home. Talmage was so excited to see his daddy and we are all glad he is doing better.

Update On Kyle

Kyle has been diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis. There isn't much they can do but have him on IV's and medication for pain until the pancreas repairs itself.
Hope you will all keep praying for him to recover quickly.
Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Plans Changing Right And Left

This week has been a little up and down with plans.  Kyle had gone to the doctor  at My Doctor Now clinic for a burning down his esophagus. The doctor told him he had strep esophagus. I guess it is different than regular strep. So he got medicine but it didn't help much.
On Monday Coco went with Kyles parents to take him to the hotel he had to stay in over night before he got sent off to bootcamp. So on Tuesday morning we get up and are getting ready to go to see him off. Coco gets a phone call from Kyle saying they won't let him go since he has strep and was on medicine. Then on Wednesday Kyle is looking almost a yellow color and hasn't eatin much in over 6 days. He finally decided to go to the emergency room since the doctor he went to wasn't answer phone calls from him. The doctor was thinking last night that it was pancreatitis or gallbladder. As of this morning they still don't know what is going on with him. They have him on an IV and moraphine to kill the pain.
Please keep him in your prayers. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Inspire And Clothing

It was the second day of school and all went well for the girls. They are enjoying being back with friends and loving their teachers.
Last night Coco and Kyle asked if we would watch Talmage for them. Of course we said Yes! He is so dang cute who wouldn't want to watch him.
I think I inspired him from the looks of this picture
I don't wear my pj's on the treadmill though.
I want to share a reason why I am glad my girls are back in school. They were getting to the point of trying to keep them selves busy. They aren't allowed to say they are bored or I give them a list of chores to do. So they got creative and made these Barbie clothes. Kelly's outfits are made out of painters tape:
Wew sticky outfits.
The next ones are made from old Sunny D bottles and a plastic cup with toilet paper for tops :
This fancy couples outfits were made with tape and then painted. Barbies skirt is a toilet paper cardboard and the top tape.  I love Ken's tux. Oh boy!
I love my kiddos but I don't miss the major messes and the hassle of cleaning up.
I am thinking of having them make my Christmas dress this year!
Hope you all had a great Tuesday. I have so much to share but not the time right now. I will try to catch up tomorrow night. Coco, Alan and I are making a day trip up north in the morning. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

Happy Pink Saturday

It has been a few weeks for me to post my love of pink. If you want to see more beautiful pinks check out Beverly's blog How Sweet The Sound there is a long list of people who join in every Saturday.
Now on to the Pinks
I just love Hello Kitty. When I was a little girl and they became popular I was the last of 7 children there wasn't the money there to buy frivolous things so I didn't have any. But now I have some. When Coco went to Sedona a couple of weeks ago with Kyles family she visited Christmas shop and bought this ornament for me. Isn't she just precious. I just love that my daughter found one with a tiara!

This is my new blender cup. I love the pink top on it. It works really good for my protein shakes.

These are roses that my sweet friend and visiting teacher Melissa Masitis brought to me. I just love their pinkness! They smell so yummy too.
I hope everyone is having a Happy Pink Saturday and had a good week.
This week has been a strange one trying to get back in the swing of things after being gone. I got use to the ease of being on vacation. he he We also have been getting ready for school to start this coming week. YEAH!! I am so ready for a regular routine. I have 2 going to elementary, one that is in Junior High but they have put the kiddos in the new high school with the 9th graders and Dallas will be doing online schooling for his Senior year.
Coco, Kyle and Talmage have been in Utah. Kyles parents wanted to spend time with him before he goes into the AirForce on Tuesday. May I ask for any support and incuraging words that can be given to Coco, please check her blog The Lucas Gang and comment to her. This is a big change in her life.
Hope you all have a Happy and fun Pink Saturday!
Hugs, Bobbi Jo
